So far as Jbl is concerned, I have used JBL Charge 2 for the last 5 years. I am really so happy these years but recently I have some problem in the unit i.e some unexpected sound, seems to me it was some disconnecting wires (may be me wrong). So I went to JBL service Centre in Kolkata and really disappointed as with a lot of smile they said this model is now obsolete. Me now so sad. I spent Rs.10,000/- 5 years back. May be depreciation value 0 now. Being a middle class mindset I have to rethink before purchasing a second one. So my request to all is before investing think its life is max 3 to 4 yrs. I just shares my views. Don't mind friends.

My flip3 also produce destroyed sound with in 3 years... Although it still sounds good.. If i increase volume more then 60% it will produced destroted sound...

Flip 5 had better bass but XB22 had stereo output and hence a wider soundstage. It was packed with better features but still remained cheaper than Flip 5.

I have heard both in person... JBL produces lot richer sound and its base is more realistic and deep bur Sony lacks the clearity of voice and also its base is not very enjoyable because its not easy to listen

I own JBL Boombox. After 1 year, the battery is completely dead. I cantacted customer care, but they ask for 5000 Rs. For shipping it to their service center in Bengaluru. Diagnostics, Battery replacement All extra......bhai 25000 k speaker ko thik karane k 10000 kon hi dega. Works with power cord though.....but ab vo wired speaker bann chuka hai..... My suggestion, go for tribit stormbox micro around 3.5k, tribit stormbox , maxsound plus under 5000. Bada speaker lena hai toh boat 1500 around 6-7k agar 12k tak ka budget hai toh jbl charge 4. I don't recommend JBL kyuki har saal ye nayi tech le k aate hai.....but no back compatibility....matlab flip 3, charge aur xtreme mein jbl connect hai.....flip 4 charge 3 aur xtreme 2 mein jbl connect plus.....ab ki baar flip5, charge 4 aur Boombox 2.0 mein partyboost..... partyboost wale speaker connect plus wale se nahi jud sakte aur connect plus wale connect walon se nahi jud sakte......ye galat hai..... battery is poor..... sound and bass is always awesome.

Seems like the Flip 5 is a major step down / backwards from the Flip 4. 1) No aux / 3.5 input port 2) No speaker phone capability as it has no mic ( !!? ) 3) No Bluetooth 5.0 ! 4) Exposed micro-usb charging port... waterproof? 5) One driver, so mono sound. The Flip 4 has dual driver stereo. I wouldn't touch the Flip 5... nor should you.

The mono speaker on the flip 5 is a advantage against flip 4 as per jbl. And trust me exposed type C will not be damaged if imersed in the water.

Bro aap itne badia speaker reviews kartein ho to kyu na ek acchhi microphone le lete ho. Recording bahut hi irritating hai, me to skip kar deta hu. But aysa v channel hai jiska sound recording bar bar sunta hu. Expesive binaural mic ki jarurat nehi but sound thik thak hona chahiye. Jeyse "Tech Days" channel ki sound quality bahot hi acchhi hai. Aap v vo 'Blue yeti' mic le sakte ho.Achhi sound quality se channel ka view bahut badegi for sure. Jeyse me hi ekbar opinion jan leta ho to dubara negi dekhta ho vdo. But jis jis channel ki sound achhi hay to mera fav speaker ka sound kahi bar sunta ho.
