@@massmanojmanojkumar1645 Yeah lol The Flip 5 has one 20W speaker driver with passive bass radiators at either end. This is an extra 4 watts of power compared to the Flip 4's 16W. The low end is slightly deeper and more punchy than most portable Bluetooth speakers of a similar size.

@@sovanmaity8969 they put them things that look like speakers on the sides because it works pretty much like a port hole without have a hole to the inside of the housing.. without them the speakers would beat themselves to death cuz the housing is so tiny or they would have to run at almost half the volume if you wanted this size of a speaker i recommend the Flip 6 has a tweeter & oval speaker

there are different model releases so your may be a different release. For the issue you are having,, you can try the following as it has worked for many. Hold down the relevant set of buttons, or do both, 1 after the other. #5. PlayPause + Vol.Up + Vol.Down -> hard reset (should simulate disconnecting the battery). This is often the best way to restore a bricked speaker, and will fix most issues, it has worked many times for me #6. PlayPause + Vol.Up for 2 seconds -> factory settings (erases history of paired devices)."

Yes like every waterproof smartphone also has no cover over the usb-c port. Its waterproof. Make sure to dry it first and remove any dirt or salts out of the port by cleaning it with distilled water.

I dropped my speaker and now it doesn't work at all. No lights, no sound. It appears to be dead. It was nearly fully powered before I dropped it. When I shake it, I do not hear any rattling pieces. Any ideas? Great video!

🎉 Ok, so I just did the first step as shown on the video. That is, I released the tension of the outer casing, but I didn't remove it. Now the speaker/sound/blue tooth work! But no lights. I guess I can deal with that for now. I haven't checked to see if the battery charge port works yet.

The side "speakers" aren't speakers at all they basically just amplify the bass coming from the main speaker on the front. The crackling sound could mean its blown

The "speakers" on the side are not speakers. They are passive radiatores which work when the main driver moves pushes air causing the passive radiators to move increasing bass response

Leave it charging up for a day or two then try resetting it. Try not to drain the battery on every use in order to get a much longer lifespan.

not a good idea I removed the limiter for the logo side pr and the amp actually started mooving inside when getting vibrations and it also started ripping out ribbon wires so I had to open it multiple times to reconect wires until I noticed that its my fault so I glued the amp in place and now its fine.
