Imma be honest I prefer the go 1 sound over go 2, the low mids are so much better with the go 1’s bass port creates deeper sounding lows than the go 2 (and 3’s) passive radiators, despite technically having a worse frequency response

Hey Willington. Go2 has a little better sound overall than go. But the difference is so tiny that I think an upgrade is waste of money. Unless waterproof is essential... Go 2 also beat the creative despite its smoothly bass. JBL work better in all sound spectrum. However, at maximum volume, I believe creative does a better job. Thanks for the video.

JBL Go's sound is a bit softer but has more neat and cleaner sound. Go 2 is louder but I guess JBL Go has more pleasant sound to ear for me.

JBL Go sounds good in my bathroom and not so good on the beach but think that would be true for all of these the same. Put them outdoors and they are simply to small to get any bass whats left is the vocals at which JBL does well.

I have a Creative Muvo 2c and the sound is a crap as you hear in the video. Especially on higher volume the bass sound blurry while you hear nearly no mids. If you like this ok but then you don't care the music you are listening.

GO 2 has better highs, but the GO has better lows. This is JBL's cheapest speaker so I"m sure people will still buy it lol. I mean they sound slightly different but now it's waterproof so whatever. They took something cheap and made it a little better.

Pedro Ortega I already did. That how it was meant. In my opinion the XB10 sounds more balanced and room filling. The lows are way better that the Go2. Putting the XB10 sideways it just crushes the Go2 in directional sound and and treble. I would definitely go for the XB10. You can sometimes find it for $30 on Amazon. I got mine for 24€ (around $30) But I went for an upgrade: the XB20 it'll arrive on Tuesday. I'm stoked.

Go sounds more neutral and flat compared to Go2, On Go2 they pushed mids and highs too much to a point that it sounds aggressive. Muvo is too scooped on the mids to enjoy, no punch and energy compared to Go2.. I like the sound of Go but prefer the design of Go2. So stupid to remove the clip holder from Go2..why do this? Designers were thinking " lets make it waterproof and put the sound on steroids but lets make less user friendly" Very clever..

I had to test myself both go variants of jbl and i can clearly say go 2 has more bass than go 1. Go 1 has more high audio less bass go 2 is opposite more bass less highs. Creative sounded in video same as jbl go 1.

The muvo 2c with IPX7 and without those weak and prone back would be perfect! They are all far awy from hifi, but the creative sounds way more stronger and mature. If the muvo 2c would be ipx7, there would be no further reason for comparison with the both jbl. For me the ipx7 Feature is the only argument for the jbl go 2. But maybe exactly this feature makes the difference for many users... btw: I had Headphone level at max to hear all differences on 60%. Than --> 3:39

DLX Willington had the clip 3. It is quite a bit better ,plays louder with more dynamics but gets lost when playing heavy bass at above 70% volume. Nice speaker but not enough bass IMO. Bose micro is still better sounding. Returned and got the XB31 instead.
