Not everything loud is good. Clip2 sound is kinda like everywhere just banging it loud while the jbl go may not be that loud but it is clean.

Clip 2c has more treble that it makes the speaker loudercand noisy, it also has bigger bass than go2.. On the go 2's part.. It sounds clean and so nice to hear. The bass is good and the sound in total for go 2 is good to listen. So for this one i go for go 2.. Ps; its newer than clip 2 😊😊

Clip 2's mid is well balanced. The bass is also more rich compared to the go2. I am glad i chose the clip. The best companion for my mountain climbing and trekking.

Hate the sibilance on the clip 2 on some tracks compared to the go 2 because of the treble focused tuning on the clip 2 (just like the tuning of the flip 4). The go 2 sounds cleaner overall.

I just took a clip 2 back , my JBL go sounded way better . More cleaner bass than the clip 2 . The clip 2 had better mids and was bit louder but sacrafice distortion for loudness . The only thing better about clip was battery life and style . But I like my go better 🤙

Clip sounds louder but the bass and highs "clips" even only at 60% volume. Go has less volume and a bit lacking in the mids but clearer accross all frequency range and doesn't clip even at max volume.

I think he might have did the test wrong in 60% power it's hard to know what volume your at with clicking just the buttons and their is the volume on the phone which is different from volume control on speaker when both played at 100% power the clip 2 was better but not as much like with 60%

here goes nothing. JBL Clip2: Better and louder mids. Better battery life also. Lows and highs sound a little distorted and not very suitable to place on a table or other surfaces, since it could scratch the grill . JBL GO2:Better highs and lows BUT it's battery doesn't last as long. Not as portable but perfect to place on a table or just for hanging out. It all comes down to prefference. Do you carry arround a backpack all the time and enjoy some chillhop or something like that? The JBL Clip2 is for you! Do you not carry a bag arround and like to put your speaker down to play on your phone or something like that? Do you like More of a high pitched or low pitched music? The JBL GO2 is for you! Or you could just buy the charge4 if you can afford it :V

I have jbl charge 3, alpatronix ax440, oontz angle 3, angle 3 ultra but the hopestar A6 is the great among them all, its loud and has awesome bass too! I hope you will try it!
