I'm so glad I attended Judgment Day 2004 at the STAPLES Center as part of a record breaking crowd at the time, they actually had fans sitting on the upper level behind the stage believe it or not. But yeah it was the traditional heel vs face it couldn't get much better than Eddie and JBL.

Gotta say, i like how humble JBL comes off and how glowing he is about other wrestlers and the business in general. All you ever heard about all these years is JBL being a huge bully, and that was probably true, but people learn and grow and he seems like a happy and good guy these days, at least now that he's retired.

May 2, 2004 I was there. They cut out Bradshaw's entrance because he cut a promo that would get him fired and cancelled today. Eddie Guerrero pinned The Wrestling God with the Frog Splash after hitting him with the WWE Championship when the referee wasn't looking. With a packed arena of angry fans, It was the most uncomfortable I've ever felt being at a WWE show. John Layfield was very close to starting a riot that night in El Paso, Texas...

One of the best things I've ever seen in 30+ years of watching rasslin was Eddie Guerrero's whole cheat 2 win thing. Every week he had ways to make it look like his opponent was cheating so he could win a match like throwing a chair at his opponent then laying down just in time for the ref to see his opponent holding the chair. I wish I could remember all the different things he did, every week for like 2 months straight he came up with something different. It was amazing. 😆
