I like that JBL is trying to simplify home theater technology for folks who don't want to get into the weeds with complicated systems.
@AudioAdvice5 ай бұрын
Absolutely! This will be a great first step into home theater for a lot of new folks!

@@AudioAdvice Nice review. How harsh are those aluminum tweeters? Is there much sibilance from the dialogue in TV shows?
@ABP82145 ай бұрын
@Akash.Chopra this isn't a review. It's an overview. They're basically telling people about the products and whatthey can do. They're not giving measurements or comparisons. This is basically an infomercial.

I like that jbl dsp, which I call avr ,since they have a harman cinema team, which synthesis.

JBL has a great history in cinema. These look like a great value.

One of the biggest upgrades I made for my listening experience was getting the couch off the back wall. Not only does it cost sweet FA, but no more leaning forward to get rid of those rear resonances. Besides having the audio move around you is way more enveloping. Our ears follow our eyes to where the story lives.

I really like the entertainment centers shown at 2:22 and 2:35 of the video. They look great in combination with the JBL's. Where are those from?

The bookshelf speakers look better than I imagined

They are really well built and have a beautiful finish for speakers in this price class! Thanks for watching!

I wonder if I can place the up firing speakers on top of the large bookshelf speakers? Or do I have to buy the huge towers?
@AudioAdvice4 ай бұрын
You can do that, yes. Thanks for watching

JBL Stage 2 or similar system or the Sony Quad system? Main use is ARC and ATMOS DTSX movie viewing? Seems once you put together all the speakers and subwoofer it gets pricey

The complete setup cost way to much! Just get a JBL sound bar and call it a day! 😂

That would be a less expensive option. Thanks for sharing

@@AudioAdvice My JBL 2.1 soundbar’s base was to loud even on the lowest bass-volume level setting. So I return it to Best Buy and got the Samsung 3.1 soundbar for $249 and it sounds far better then JBL soundbar, plus the Samsung soundbar has more bass-volume adjustment options then the JBL deep bass soundbar does. 🙂

What I don’t understand is how JBL Is pushing this is so simple set up in there advertising. But got you running rear speaker cables is definitely a step backwards. When every HTIAB has wireless rear speakers.
@AudioAdvice5 ай бұрын
Agree, it is not as easy as most sound bars, but it is a simpler room eq setup than Dirac, Audyssey and others. It is in between a soundbar and high end AVR. Thanks for watching

This is not a review this is a tips and guide about speaker and home theater.. he didnt talk about the jbl speaker at all waste of time.
@AudioAdvice5 ай бұрын
We did discuss each model in the lineup and how each speaker would work in your setup. We also mentioned in the beginning that we wouldn't get into the fine details as many people starting out in home theater who are buying these speakers may care less about the technology. However, we do have a very detailed article on our site that we mentioned where you can find all those details and specs of each speaker.

They never said this was a review. It's an overview. Two completely different things.
