Hi, I just bought the jbl tune flex earbuds. Just sitting in my office, toggling the NC on and off and do not hear any difference. Can still easily hear the fan of my cpu. Is this a sign of a defect? I was hoping these would NC airplane noise. Are these recommended for airplane use?

They don't really do a complete noise cancel I have had them for 1 year already and I've been to 2 airplanes with them. They partially cancel the sound but if you turn on the music to the right level (medium or high) then you won't hear the sound But also whenever I'm in the bus I can hear the bus itself work but less noise So it just decreases the sound. Moreover, I am having constant problems with them because either one of them doesn't turn off whenever I put it back in the box. Or it just won't turn on. Really problematic piece, so problematic that I have to carry my headphones as well in case I face these problems

Put both the headphone back into it case, close it. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone and start shake the little shit VIGOROUSLY. 70% itll work cause some internal wiring of this stupid case is not working properly (design flaws). Hope this help, i got both of mine blinks and up to use.
