Good progress guys, that's some rot in the cab frame. Sounds like you run a tidy contracting business too. I don't know how you find the time to restore these old girls, I struggle keeping my modern plant up together and get some work done at the same time! Looking forward to watching this 3cx restoration continue.

Best of luck getting a new cab for that, at a price that is less than the value of the machine. I was quoted £850 for just a left door frame, no glass or locks.... I've given up, and just park the thing out of the prevailing wind..!

Great work taking off the cab. I was lucky when I bought my black cab that it didn't have any rust or physical/cosmetic damage,e.g broken glass, doors and lights. If you are looking for a cab I suggest going out to Vicary Plant Spares out at The Old Station,North Kilworth,Lutterworth. He does all new and used Jcb parts. How long did it take to take off the cab and if you're going to be servicing you're front axle can you do a detailed video on it as I'm curious myself about it.😉🤟

Hi yes we have been in contact with Vicary and are waiting for a response from them at the moment , it took roughly 1.5 hours to remove it due rusted off bolts also yes we'll do a dedicated vid on the axle.

@@filmingtractorsandplant9902 I just noticed that you're already in the Jcb Facebook group. I don't know how I missed you but I did.😆. Great work taking it off. I can't believe you paid 3c money for it. That's insane.🤟
