JCB and Krone high speed baling

The first day out with the new Krone big pack4x4 with the 8250 providing the muscle and plenty of it! The new Krone performed very well and hopefully it will keep it up through the season

everybody seems to be forgetting that it's hay that he's picking up too!! you can go wicked hard in hay try picking up grass silage and you wouldn't go anywhere near that speed

This looks like extremely smooth field here. Most fields wouldn't allow you to drive this fast. If you did you would probably be on the floor of the cab.

pto driven with hydraulic start

its pto driven and the krone baler have a 570kg flywheel that helps reduce the shocks to the pto each time the piston in the baler compress the hay.. on other balers that dont have that flywheel you can somtimes hear the engine almost stop each time the baler work in thick crop and compress.. it works if you have engine enough but it wear unessesary on the pto axle.

it looks like a 3x4'' which is 90 x 120 centimeter and up to 3.2 meter long bales if you choose that setting
