JCB Fastrac 4220 Muckcart

Out putting the 4220 to good use carting some pig muck about. not very taxing for the Fastrac. Henry the boss wants to put it on the plough to see what its like, he's not convinced yet.

We had a Fastrac on demo when they first came out in the early 90's. I hated it, just felt numb and cumbersome, compared to my Case International 1455. Mind you, the Fastrac was a lot faster though. Watching your vids when you were working at JWB's soon changed my mind about them, they look a lot better now, and I would love to try one, I hope you get to keep that one, you look a bit out of place on the Fendt and Deer. You seem to be a lot happier there, and the Fastrac would be the icing on the cake for you. Keep your fingers crossed.

you mentioned that this brakes automatically and the fendt doesn't, put the fendt in foot pedal mode and then it slows the transmission down when you let off the acceleration pedal

Just tell you're boss you can get between jobs much quicker.....he'll buy one. Bloody tractors, used to do 17mph and could get past. Nowadays do about 40mph and stuck behind them for miles LOL.

Nickel he left his old job with John, who had fastracs. That's gone now. He then got a new job at Henry Saunders contacting which didn't have a fastrac. However George got one on demo for his new farm to show the boss how capable the tractor is and what it's like.

My 7270 will do 44 MPH speed wagon .I licked the 4000 range when we put it on a 6 meter power harrow . there was a marked improvement over 3230

Hi George just to let you k ow in the fendt you can change the throttle response so it either pulls its self back hard when you let of the accelerator or you can have it so if doesn't do much at all
