Yeah I really dint like fake parts most of the time. However I don't mind them in this case because the original design had fake parts. It's not like Earthrise Prime just swapping out the grill for a slightly different grill. I don't like that because Optimus never transformed like that in G1.

He actually does have light piping, just very bad. The whole back of his head is painted clear plastic and there are two tiny holes that light comes through. The leaked Black Convoy is unpainted and you can see it's actually pretty decent

1:09 True, they did him dirty with those colors. He's basically just Nemesis Prime now, extremely unfortunate. As for a personal repaint wish of mine, it's gotta be movieverse bay colors. Just imagine how freakin' cool that'd be on legacy Prime, and it'd be awesome to have him fit in with my other generations G1-ified figs. Also, does anyone else notice that they keep skimping on painting the silver for Primes face recently? It used to just be the earthrise mold but, lo and behold, it's missing yet again on the legacy figure. I really miss it, honestly.

what they did to scourge really hurts man, I have the OG mold and was super excited for the legacy one because I really want a more dynamic version of that design.

They never named him scourge, just black convoy. My bet is they have another repaint waiting. Toyhax will probably have some creative fixes anyways.

Honestly I wouldn't mind a scourge retool with a brand new chest. The siege legs also desperately need to get rid of the side trailer hitch.

New one looks great. I have 0 attachment to G2 but I'm super excited to eventually get the Legacy figure. I don't remember exactly how to do it but I saw somewhere that you can configure the trailer pieces in a way that you can give Optimus a big gatling gun/cannon type weapon that he can hold kinda like a clone z-6 rotary cannon, which is pretty cool.

There is light-piping! The back of the Legacy version's head is painted trans-blue plastic, wich still allows light to go through.

Not sure if anyone has commented this yet, but there is a panel in the cab of the truck you flip down for robot mode. That fixes the gap, and gives him some thruster detail

Legacy Prime does have light piping. It's the two triangular holes in the back of the head. You may need a smaller light to get to it but it's there.

I don't have any knowledge of G2 prime nor do I like the ER Prime mold but I really like the truck he turns into, movie prime basically, and the oil tanker.

Just in case you didn't know but legacy prime has a red panel inside the truck cab that folds down for robot mode to fill in a gap and to become jet thrusters.

Legacy g2 prime is the best one the reveal shield prime is good and its ok but it's small idc about size that much on transformers toys the detail looks great but idk something about the reveal shield g2 prime being small

The Black Convoy/Scourge that got leaked may not look like the actual Scourge from RID which used the G2 Laser Optimus mold but he does seem to be based off of the Scourge hasbro did which used the Combat Hero Optimus mold that had been released towards the end of RID and beginning of Armada. That figure had a more Nemesis Prime color to him like the leaked figure has so even though the gray isn't there it's still faithful to a version of RID Scourge from the toyline

i call the reveal the shield one Opti Prime for difference and has a small origin being that he was a spokesman but decided to be a sword barer and had red energon turn into the sword he used that can be a special if he wants to but has a modified battle droid missile launcher plus his shoulder blasters

Nah, Ultra Magnus is Way Cooler than Both G2 Optimus and RID Scourge because of his Trailer Armour (I don't like the SS86 Magnus Toy though)
