Sure. I tend to check out people's channels if they're active on the channel, or seem like they may be interesting. However, I'm very picky on what I subscribe to, and I just don't watch every kind of video just because someone asked me to. Same goes for shout-outs, I cannot fairly shout-out somebody for no reason other than they asked, it would be unfair to anyone else who were to ask and I would be unable to do so. A shoutout from me will not gain you much viewership or subscribers.

I'm coming back to this video (a month later), as I ended acquring one (I never though I would, as my interest in these little figures as waned a bit over time). Bit of a story: Earlier tonight, I was walking through walmart, doing a bit of grovcery shopping. As I always do, I decided to check the toy section to see if they got any Mega Construx Halo stuff back in, and since they didn't (my Walmart hasn't stocked Mega Construx Halo stuff in over a year), I figured I might look around, see what else they had. I saw this little trooper hanging on one of the racks, and was instantly brought back to my childhood (when I used to be obsessed with these 3.75 inch figures, mainly early VC and 3.75 inch TBS). I decided to buy it, since it was the last one left. I opened it when I got home (same method you used, as I wanted to preserve the cardback). The memories of inventing storylines, creating imaginary battlescapes (with the few I had), all of it came back in an instant. It kinda hit me a bit hard, too. I had been debating back and forth about picking up some other TVC figs, namely Paz Vizla, the delux Boba Fett, and (when they inevitably come out) Moff Gideon in his armor and one of the Super Commandos.

As much as I love this new figure, they really should've gone with the swappable head feature they did with Bo-Katan. It truly baffles me that they decided to devolve back to removeable gummy helmets that warp easily. Still, I can't help but be excited for an updated Fordo or Rex with this new body.

For me, the anthena mold is still the best mold for troopers. I know this one has better articulation, but for me the anthena mold is just perfect😮

The skinny mold is not bad for a phase 1 clone. It looks ok with that helmet. A new phase 2 mold was needed so badly. I’m glad it’s finally here. I can’t wait to get a few of this to make customs based on battlefront 2 (sniper, heavy, assault, etc)

I agree, the skinny mould should have stayed at p1. It’s hilariously awful with p2 because the helmet is too big and there’s no neck due to that.

So far I have 23 of these clones, my nit picks are the hands seem a bit huge in proportion to the rest of the body, the head should be swappable and not removable and the guns are prefect except for the gummyness and the long-rifles grip being to short

They are actually fixing and adjusting the 212th black line on the helmet on some of the newer shipped versions of the 4 pack! Anyways great video man been watching you since I was a teen.

Lego's a stylized building toy, I would never want or expect it to be "accurate" in that sense. If that's what we want then minifigs need noses and ears. lol

@@Jcc2224 Lego has shown that they can do a very good job with their figures. The current Lego clones are a step backward from the circa 2013 era, in both phase 1 and phase 2, but the phase 2 helmet is particularly offensive.

I repainted the visor on one of mine, and doing so made the helmet actually look really good. The actual shape and design of the helmet is nearly identical to the prop used in Andor, so it's just the visor paint that makes it look bad.

@KickapooNinja It isn't really oversized, actually, it just sits a little too low. The size is pretty accurate for a clone helmet that has an actual person's head in it. Unlike the antenna mold that, while it looks good, is WAY too small compared to the rest of the body if you look at it like a helmet that a person would wear.

I have a few Mandalorian helmets and motorcycle helmets and yeah sometimes I look like a bobble head 😂 Doesn't mean it looks good lol I'd prefer an antenna mold Clone head over this one because I do think it looks oversized. I'll have to look at mine again when I get home and see if it looks better when I pull the helmet up a bit. EDIT: I think I'll 3d print a helmet to scale and see if it looks better than the antenna mold helmet.

@KickapooNinja It might be the tiniest bit oversized, but at least it's MUCH more proportionally accurate then the removable phase II helmet we've had for the past few years (the one seen on clones like Captain Grey) and its pretty close in scale to the one seen in Andor, which the figure is based off of.

I actually saw this fig in person, along side Starkiller and Piet.... I passed on him because I frankly got enough 05 clones to satisfy my past self... BUT I'm glad to see the skinny mold finally get retired!

Ive found with the neck, if you stick a little bit of tissue paper inside of the neck socket it can raise the head up more and it ends up looking alot better and more proportioned. For me it didn’t cause any issue with posing, the joint seems to just go way too far down. Definitely recommend trying it, super easy fix

So I got 2 of these troopers. And I was curious about the helmet paint. And yeah you're so right. I have a white helmet from an old revenge of the sith engineering figure. And the helmets from 2005 are more accurately painted than 2023 helmets. Christ sake if we need to lose removable helmets to have more accurate helmets and heights I'm willing to make that sacrifice.

i think the neck could be fixed by cutting the double ball joint in half and adding a little of something like a malleable poxy clay or any of that style to add a little bit more of length to it and speaking about the helmet. it would need a little re-paint and we almost would have our perfect 3.75" clone

They make the visors on all the new clones too thin and then Hasbro's excuse is they are using the clone wars animated series as a reference when some of the figures are not from the clone wars cartoon. the visor always makes the newer clone helmets have an angry look lol

I do question why Hasbro even bothers giving generic Clones removable helmets? They doesn't do it for Black Series so, why do it for smaller figures? That could fix the problem, by just focusing on the helmet by just making it the head of the toy.

maybe you should, well if you have a sharpie (black) you can trace where the visor is not painted and make it look right but if you don't wanna mess it up then I guess you could leave it on how It looks.

They do the no black line clone wars style bc there is genuinely a lot of ppl that prefer that style (such as myself)! U can ALWAYS add a black line, but much harder to REMOVE the black line🤷‍♂️

That 2005 helmet is rough man, whatever clone was wearing that helmet would've had to have had the sides of their head caved in to be able to fit. My main gripes are the super gummy weapons, the inconsistent white across the armor (even his torso on mine slightly differs), and that awful visor print (despite how the actual mold for the visor looks nice).

I have 10 of this guy, and the only problems i can see with it are in the helmet. The ONLY problems in the helmet are that the visor is not painted well and is too thin (which is thankfully an easy fix) and that it's slightly too wide and sits a little too low. The actual mold of the helmet is nearly spot on to the one used in Andor, and is really well scaled to make this look like a helmet with a head in it. All Hasbro needs to do to make this figure perfect is paint the visor better and use a slightly longer dumbbell joint in the neck so that the head sits up a tiny bit higher.

@clonetrooperfan3401 I just used a very small and fine brush with some glossy black paint to fill in the visor, and I used an exacto knife to carefully remove any paint that had spilled over where it was supposed to be.

I filled my visor with a black paint and it looks way better.. also the dc15 has a weird thingy that can be put in the arc troopers backpack as the carbine for some reason

It’s the ammo clip, the dc15 that comes with this clone is a different mold then what comes with the arc troopers, ARC one has a bigger clip
