I got the Canoe to take the dog out on the water but being a black dog a hot sunny day is not a good day to bring her along. It's a nice big boat great for fishing or just hanging out on. Thanks man

Bad News: the dam holding back Stump Pond burst last August when the remnants of a hurricane passed through. The lake is gone now. Funds to replace the dam were just approved, but it will take a while. I paddled it exactly once, after maybe 30 years wishing I could while I hiked the Stump Pond Trail. It was illegal to canoe there for a long time. Since the dam carried the trail, we will not be able to either hike the full loop trail or paddle the lake until they rebuild it.
