Correct me if im wrong. For file transfer, Im not sure for cmf phone 1 but in nothing phone 1, im pretty sure you should tap on the "charge via usb" in the notification panel then there will be a few options and you have to select the "file transfer" option.

Genius! I didn’t realise there were settings inside the notification - such an Android Newb haha I enabled File Transfer and now Image Capture can now see all the photos and videos so I can import them! Still not appearing as an external drive though.. not sure if it should or not. Thanks for watching and for teaching me something! 😄✌🏻

My Microsoft duo 1 is on it's end so i bought this phone as a fast replacement and in the future i will use it as a backup phone. (It will arive tomorrow) But what i see so far on reviews is that this phone is way better than just a short term replacement phone. Really impressive at this pricepoint.

Kudos for the expanded coverage to Android, Jack! My hunch is that doing so will increase your channel views and subs. (Goal still 25K by end of year?👍) I know, you gravitated to this model because of all that orange!😊 Modular design a plus (perhaps enabling custom 3D printed backs to accept Moment (et al) lenses). However, my guess is that some folks will be put off by having to mess with, and perhaps lose, tiny screws. Android file management much more user friendly IMO, than iOS. Perhaps a USB setting (Settings/Connections) on the Android phone (once the USB cord is plugged in) would enable MAC to ID the hardware as an external storage device. Worth playing around. Does the phone have Android Gallery as the photo repository, along w/editor that includes “object remove”? Watch the YT stats and see if you do, indeed, get more views than usual. Cheers!

I want to get orange backplate but it’s never in stock! 🍊 Yeah I’m wondering if there’s a setting in need to change, as the phone doesn’t even appear as a drive when I plug it into the Mac. Image Capture can see it, but can’t see the photos or videos to import them… Yes it has the Photos app with the Magic Eraser tools and filters etc Thanks for watching Paul! ✌🏻

I am a bit surprised that the file transfer to mac did not work. You can usually just plug in any android phone into a windows or linux system and it will recognize it as a drive.

my thoughts are that translated video titles are useless because they transfer less and less information than the original and let the video appear as a cheap video from a scammer.

They should've made wireless charging optional similarly to samsung galaxy s5. There you could swap the back cover to upgrade to s view and get wireless charging, where the charcing coil connected to th phone with pogo pads. All while being water resistant and somewhat user servicable. Phones truly have regressed on that front.

Yeah it has Google Wallet for keeping your passes. But no NFC for contactless payments.

There are hundreds and hundreds of 3D graphic-intensive games on Android ( thousands?). Probably more than even iOS. This area could have used just a little more effort. Good review otherwise

As with any fingerprint scanner add the same finger twice and make sure to scan different parts of the fingerprint. This will make the scanner be more accurate and help when you don't hit it precisely as you weren't touching the circle fully with the pad of your thumb during part of the example you showed.

It’s because you have enable file transfers from the charging notification on the phone. Found that out from another comment!
