Justin, my wife and I both are fans of your channel (and enjoy seeing Grace and her sister) but I definitely want you to know that rather than doing another video like this focusing on higher end fragrances, THIS price point (kinda between $60 and $100) needs a lot more attention for us regular guys! There are tons of KZbin videos about cheapies, and while I personally really do appreciate Niche fragrances and their different facets, many of us can't afford to really focus on those with any regularity if we're looking for things we're going to actually purchase anytime soon. Eau Intense Vetiver is great, but it is a Sichuan pepper fragrance lol. Its sparkly citrus on some vetiver but a lot of Sichuan and i love that!

Safari will always be one of my favorites. I wore it when it came out in 1992! I think that I was wearing Xeryus Givenchy and Fahrenheit Dior, in heavy rotation (I know I showed my age, 😂). I have been a fraghead since the early 80’s.

With regard to the KENZO, I found much better reception from the Kenzo Intense and the scent profile it exudes. I was one of those who wore Safari in the mid 90's. Definitely apprediated in that era!! Thanks for your list and the production.

That guerlain l'homme edt is my top 2 frag in collection, fell in love when I've smelled it for the first time. Still, after a year having it, it makes me drool over it. Idk if you have allready done that video, but maybe a new video idea: bright/summer fragrances, that aren't just citrus or aquatic, so I'm talking about something like bois imperial, or H24 edt. Something that might catch you with refreshment, but not coming from citrus/aquatic notes. Hope you'll see that idea regarding your vast fragrance knowledge 😉

I just received my bottle of Kouros body from YSL, and I'm so happy to have it in the collection before it's discontinued. I recommend that you all try to at least get to know this masterpiece while there is still time. It is, in fact, a different fragrance and to the happiness of many completely different from the original Kouros. I wonder if you know this fragrance and, if so, your opinion about it?

Now I know my nose is still novice but I feel like all I’m getting is Leather rubber and a hint of that curry. Nothing else. Not getting any citrus . Curious if I’m missing something? Thank you Jose. I don’t believe you’re missing anything. At its core, Ganymede is a bit of a polarizing scent with some unusual elements. If you have plans to continue to explore samples of other niche fragrances over the next few months, maybe get away from Ganymede for the time being. Then return to it and see how you feel.

Bogart Pour Homme is a fantastic alternative to Mugler's Pure Havanne if you're not prepared to pay the extra for Xerfoff's Naxos. An awesome cheapie.

My SOTD today is an incredible cheapie that you recommended a while ago: Guy Laroche Horizon. Calling it the best fragrance I've ever bought for less than $10 is true...but a bit unfair, because it wasn't just a great deal, but is legitimately a very good, interesting frag. Not a 10/10, but easily an 8. And for the price you can still get it at (despite being discontinued, I think), truly a steal.

What would you say the major differences are compared between eau intense vetiver roja vetiver, and nishane sultan vetiver? I tested eau intense and really enjoyed it, I'm just not 100% sure whether it's the vetiver that I'm really enjoying within that fragrance, but I can't physically test the other 2, they would be a blind buy 😅
