Being offered is a 1955 D penny. It retains some of its original gloss and I would unofficially grade it as an AU 57 58 or 59 or maybe even 60. Very clean with no grease grime or dirt. $10, OOO You can probably resell this for triple my offering price. Photo upon request.

Last year i found a 1955 BIE and coin communities have graded it around MS64RD. Community Graded but to be honest im not sure if I should proceed with a grade since ive heard it has dropped in value.

No it's a Philadelphia mint. on some of the Philadelphia mint in the earlier dates they wouldn't put a p on it.

What ever you can get most wheatbacks worth about 5 cents on up unless there is a mistake or doubling be about 3 cents up depending on condition.hope i helped god bless you

Don’t bother looking for that 1955 double die penny. I have looked for one for over 60 years and not found one. Back 60 years ago each year at Christmas my parents would give me a $50 bag of pennies with 5,000 pennies to look through and search for that 1955 double die. I got those bags every year for Christmas for 20 years which means I searched through 100,000 pennies and I never found a single 1955 double die penny. Don’t bother searching for one. They are impossible to find. But I did find one 1909S VDB penny in those 100,000. And 2 1914D pennies also.

I have a 1955 nothing special about it other than condition. Its a red and in mint state condition looked better than any coin on this video but I'm sure its only worth not even a $1 cause that's the way things work isn't. See a price for a coin and then get told it's not worth anything I'm just glad I have a popular wheat penny in such a clean condition no ddo or rpm just simply a nice specimen for the age of such a coin
