Quick tip, use a spray can lid or the bottom 2 inches or so of a plastic bottle as a little cup, pour a drop of engine oil into it (or drill lubricant) and use it to dip the drill bit into when drilling through metal. Will make your drill bits last a lot longer.

Hey Matt. Thanks for all the videos. They are really informative and I enjoy your comedy. It's very tasteful. I am getting into off-roading, in the market to get a ride, and you have been really inspirational. Thanks! Tom

Personally I like the rustys off-road kit it comes with a fender flair already on the quarter panel so it's one big piece
@mredge1367 жыл бұрын
Brandon, I agree. But, I like how the JCR kit integrates the LED tail light assemblies that Rusty's does not offer. If anybody knows of a kit that offers the fender flares, LED tail lights and coffin bars in one. Please let me know.

And probably drill out the holes in your armor to the next size up in the process. :)

Are the bolts on that panel really very strong? Also, won't water seep between the two panels and create a paradise for rust?
@quincybirwood262910 жыл бұрын
You DO realize on that second bolt 5:22 all you had to do was open the door and fold the seat down to put the nut on the inside. Lol

I don't get it, these are made to protect quarter panels but you have to destroy your quarter panels to install them?
@CheetoTheCat7 жыл бұрын
Chris Davis, yeah I'm trying to understand why I should drill a bunch of holes in the side of my Cherokee, which has zero rust on it, but certainly will develop rust after drilling a bunch of holes in the side. I don't get it. What am I missing?
@_drewmin7 жыл бұрын
Trees wont kill it. Chances are if you do this youre hitting the trails a lot
@GarageBuddys7 жыл бұрын
the protection kit, in my opinion, was born to make the body for more time, not to keep it original. if you want to keep it original you do not, sorry for my bad language
@hotshtsr206 жыл бұрын
Some of us have already destroyed our quarterpanels. This makes it look as good as, or better than stock (if armor is your thing) and will likely stay that way. Or, if you know you're going to wreck them anyway, you could install these ahead of time.

I had previously cut my fenders to fit bigger tires, will this still fit? is there a PDF template that I can maybe print off 1:1 to see??? I have been wanting to do this for a long time now but assumed I couldn't :(
