Wish I had your training as I was starting out 19 years ago! I kept putting in "star" orders without commensurate sales until suddenly I was carrying thousands of dollars on my shelves with upcoming expiry dates, or when product changes came along and the inventory was now obsolete. A MUCH BETTER way of being a smart consultant and the shipping costs are a tax deduction--smile KarenMH

Hi Jen, first off I just want to say I'm about to become a Mary Kay beauty consultant and I have used most your videos on KZbin to take notes with cause I have found them to be the most helpful so far. With that said I was wondering if you would post a video on how to do MK taxes? What all needs to be recorded, documented and accounted for, for taxes. If you could do that I would love to watch and take more notes. Thank you so much

In Canada we can use propay for 39.99/yr which allows you to send an invoice to the customer which allows them to pay and you can have the products shipped to them from MaryKay which means you don't need to buy the customers buys yourself which cuts back on expenses.
@jcssul8 жыл бұрын
We have a similar system here as well but it takes too long to ship. Having stock means customers can get their products immediately. I have even taken stock in the car to give orders at a party :)

This is great how you've really talked about the 'business' side of mlm business!! Not many people explain that to new consultants and then things dont work and people quit! Very good. I like this.

Hi Jenny...... I just checked out your video...I am wondering why you order sect2 products weekly and pay the shipping and handling when you can order products monthly and just pay one time for the shipping and handling? How do you find customers if you don't have any people you know in a new area and your family and friends are not willing or place any orders or even host a party? What is the easiest way to build a new client base?
@jcssul9 жыл бұрын
Hi Denise, thanks for your questions... maybe watch the video again, its a lot of info so you don't always hear everything first time round, but i'm pretty sure i explained my reasons why in there somewhere :) Regarding finding new clients, don't even try with your family and friends if they are not interested at the moment, you will only upset them and more importantly yourself! Here is my Facial Box video kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaWxiqKAjpmWaaM. This is how i got started (my friends weren't interested either). Once your business takes off and they see how successful and committed you are, they will most likely show more interest then. All the best for your new business, love Jen x

I was a Mary Kay consultant in order to make quick sales I had to keep a huge amount if stock that kept my money on investment making slow profit and in terms of time was a big loose. It wasn't a good business especially because the prices increase to the level of more prestigious competitive cosmetics .

I was not telling you how ti train your consultant s. I just joined and I'm trying to get tips and training as well. So your training is made public. Sometimes criticism is good if u will listen and be open to it. Sorry that I offended u.
@jcssul7 жыл бұрын
Shontel Simmons not offended but a lot of work goes into training that we don't get paid for. It's open because that is the Mary Kay way to share. However everyone is very quick to criticize when behind a keyboard. Most comments made with 'good criticism' intended would never be said to my face if I was in the same room offering training. More than happy for you to use my training and sincerely hope you get something good from it, but please remember everyone has a different style and it actually takes a lot guts to put yourself in front of a camera and share. Good luck with your new business!

@mpbeautyboss5 жыл бұрын
It's not easy. You have to continously meet new people and introduce the products to everyone. Be fun and amiable to people so they can refer you and you keep meeting more people. Use it too... this way you sound more enthusiastic about what you are selling.
@shontelsimmons72407 жыл бұрын
This is nothing personal toward the people who like to teach or give information about the business. Please dont take up so much time talking about your personal things. Such as your glasses, so and so on. You will loose your audience, when u finally get to the teaching.
@jcssul7 жыл бұрын
Shontel Simmons this is training for my consultants, if you don't like then please fast forward or don't watch. My video and my channel, don't really appreciate you telling me how to train my consultants (my team actually appreciate some lightness and the time it takes to make these videos) but thanks for your feedback anyways.
