JD 4630 4430 PTO lever won't stay up

How to troubleshoot and test pressures on the 4430/4630 operating housing which needs to be the first step when the pto lever won't stay up.

What if the pto is always spinning with the handle off ,, then when you throw it up to work it does fine . It’s not to bad but is aggravating when you have to turn tractor off took hook up . It’s on a 1971 4020 power shift . Enjoy your channel!

If pto is spinning with the lever off that means your pto brake is shot. Means splitting the tractor

I got a 4230 and I want to change my steering return line to the fitting like in this video. Do you know the part number for the two fittings?

It was done right before I bought it, so I don't have the part numbers.... But I think all that can be sourced through the deere dealer as an upgrade. also, there's a guy on Yesterday's tractors.com by the name of Tim S. He'd be the guy who could get you the right part numbers for that. He posts in the JD forum.
