Hey, the video was very helpful thanks! I installed a cylinder works 365cc into me 2012 ktm 350 and used this tuner. the bike runs well other than at idle it sounds fine but randomly will quite and some times right when i give it throttle to get moving in first gear it does it as well, just dies. Any idea if this is the tuner or what could cause this ? played with the idle setting on the tuner and it helped a bit but still happened a couple of times

Hi Jimmy, Great work as usual thank you ! Have you tested this versus the Vortex ECU and how would you compare the two ? I would like to purchase a JD or Vortex for my 450L that will be setup for GNCC/Enduro style riding in new england ! Everyone praises the Vortex over the other offerings however this may work well for me as i really only plan on a Full exhaust, Air box mod and a flywheel weight for the engine for the moment. Thanks !

Would the JD add enough fuel for an open exhaust? All the shops keep telling me I need a vortex or GET. I have a 2017 FE 350. I mainly just chase my 6/8 year old boys. Trails only. Id like to either add an endcap or slip on exhaust, and that's really it...Thank you.

Put this on my 2013 350 EXC-F, immediately noticed that the idle is smoother, the whole bike seems to be a little `happier` for lack of a better word. Going to bump up the accelerator pump to see what happens.

Anyone having trouble or experience with this tuner for a 2021 CRF450RL? The JD picture diagram seems clear enough and I can find the throttle body plug, but I cannot find the stock wire harness plug as it shows in the JD diagram. I'm stuck .

Hi thank you for the video, I Have been running this tuner for around 8 months now and has been great no issues. Just recently I have noticed the bike is idling incorrect. So at idle it seems to happen more so when its been ridden hard also the weather has been alot cooler than it has been in a long time as I live in a very humid place. The bike at idle will pick up the rpm's for a second or 2 the blue light at the end will disappear and the green idle light will go from flashing to staying on and lighting up one more green light. It just sounds like some one is turning the throttle the smallest amount just over idle for a second then lets off.... It has only started doing it. It is a 2019 CRF450L full yoshimura rs4 system with a unlocked ecu from the states and the intake manifold is not restricted. Any ideas?

Does not sound like an issue related to the tuner. Maybe the injector needs to be cleaned or the fuel pressure is not correct/changing. Easy to disconnect the JD Tuner and see if issues persist. If they go away, then you know it is the tuner and since it is electronic, look at connections or see if it got very wet?

Do the lights on the unit track up and down with RPM while your riding so you can see what zone your in?

Does it make any diffrence on dyno? I have bought this to my 2011 rmz 450, havent got the time to play around with all modes and stuff. Soon all snow are gone so i will test it more. But i got one question, if you change one mode and go to another mode, the changes i did on the mode before will be like i put it? Hope you understand and sry for my bad english hehe :)

I have 2018 fe 350 with the emissions deleted and a a end cap on the pipe. I installed the JD tunner and the bike ran and sounded great, The next day it started and then stalled and now it will not start it just dies. Any idea what could be going on?

Yes if the bike is stock the on-board electronics are tuned for that configuration if you make modifications to the bike the on-board electronics would need to be retuned that's what this box does

Have you tried it on a TPI 2 stroke? I just bought one and going to put it on my 250 xc TPI that has a lean low throttle opening condition. I can also tell it’s a bit lean as the powervalve starts opening.

I also have a tpi that seems lean at part throttle, stutters when it starts opening the power valve and goes "ding ding" when I close it. I've just bought the jd tuner and I'll install it this week. Any suggestions on how to tune it? Maybe going richer on the yellow and yellow-blue zones? If you have already played with it I may have a base to start. Thank you.

will this eliminate the jerky off-on throttle transition on new ktm SXF bikes? like riding thru pits in 2nd gear it just bucks back and forth as you try to maintain smooth throttle on/off

The jd jetting 6x are not waterproof!! It caused me so many problems and caused me to get dnf on new ktm tpi. The tell you to put it on the side of the frame with wires up, there are crappy rubber seals that let water in. Do not buy or put it in your airbox

Stop babbling and point out the highs and lows. Where are the sweet spots on this module?. Not everyone is running through the desert and can actually ride. What happens when there's hill climbed involved and temps are cooler. Just Saying!!!!
