I remember wen reading the manga and Kisame died i was left speechless at thats the way he chose to go. I also thought it was quite touching that in his final moments he thought about Itachi as both of them knew the pain that comes from having to kill comrades. Kisame clearly saw Itachi as a friend and despite him being a spy I'd like to think Itachi considered Kisame a friend too

kisame will not killed itachi bcause of obito's order...kisame is very loyal and effective on mission. He has a mission from obito to track down itachi to see if he will double cross. That's why Obito team up itachi with a loyal and experience partner like kisame. But the best part is both of them realize and aware of it..2 best spies..one is patriot and one is dreamer.

Kisame is one of the few opponents that Guy actually respects enough to remember the name of. Also Kisame did care about his comrades. He formed a bond with Itachi, and he seemed to like Tobi's funny side.

It's more the case that he knew who Tobi really was and respected him, in one episode he even calls Tobi "Mizukage-Sama" Not only as a joke about him controlling the Mizukage, but also out of Respect for Tobi not lying to him.

@@kc_h7h no. That was different. Wheb he first met Obito in episode 251 he was using his true persona (not tobi's). When Tobi debuted in Akatsuki, Kisame didnt know it was Obito until the episode he apologies to him for hiding his identity in Akatsuki.

I really wish Kishimoto gave us the explanation about Kisame's shark features. Maybe the Hidden Mist experimented with human genes by adding some creatures genes to them by trying to create ultimate shinobi warrior or something like that. Would have been pretty awesome, imo.

It's pretty clear that some of the Hidden Mist ninja clans just have fish-like features. Suigetsu, Mangetsu, and Zabuza all had shark like teeth after all. Although, maybe it's a trait specifically cultivated in their Seven Ninja Swordsmen?

No kisame was a powerful shinobi without the samehada. He was considered to be recruited as a akatsuki before he got the sword. And he even killed the fat samahada wielder who is very strong as we see later in the show. And he did that without the sword

This is one of those major mismatches. For Kisame to fight the strongest taijutsu practitioner in all of Naruto was just dumb luck. He would've clapped anyone else that uses chakra (Seeing as how easy he handled Killer Bee).

Itachi the crow and kisame the shark. Two creatures from opposite habits. The shark only sees what is in front of it, or the murky shadows of things that might be. Only motivated by curiosity, confusion and aggression. The crow, intelligent and wise, oversees everything in clarity from above and can see things coming clearly and concisely. (GW) Sharks hunt alone, and crows in murders. But both sharing a common goal, survival. Kisame living his life and dying just to see the world once the way itachi did. And itachi living his life allowing himself to sink into ambiguity so others can see him as a murky shadow of the man he was 🔥💧

All Akatsuki member & how they moving with duo is awesome. Itachi & Kisame have respect each other, because they are had same experience from their former village to kill their comrades forsake to village. Hidan & Kakuzu are zombie duo, which mean they couldn't kill each other because they are in some way immortal. Sasori & Deidara is artist with their faith about art. This make Akatsuki best villain group.
