@Argosh to be fair ive kinda been watching while half asleep since it's coming on at 3am for me. What I've seen is ruler with perfect kdas in his other games. And honestly I think both sides have been playing very poorly. Actually every team has played poorly. It looks a lot like solo queue this worlds, but I think that has more to say about the state of the game. Everyone is scared of engaging because any engage will result in one team completely throwing the game, and every engage is a coin flip because team fights last 2 seconds and the winner is determined. The fights are extremely razor thin and lightning quick that in order to outplay you have to be some kind of a chess God, and predict everything before it happens. If you have to react to it then you are already dead. League has become a completely different game over the years and I'd say for the worse to appease their gen z no attention span new player base. The amount of movement abilities and one shot no skill combos in the game now is quite absurd, and almost every champ can do it.

Yes it's true that Faker doesn't have the #1 stats like CS, KDA, KP and etc. He doesn't care about his stats as long as they win the game. I've been a T1 fan since 2015, so I can confirm that Faker's playstyle changed just like how the meta changes from time to time. He focuses more on shotcalling & playmaking not lane dominance. Stats alone are not enough to be considered as the "GOAT". What's the use of having good stats if you can't help your team win a title? Achievements, contributions to your team, the game, and the legacy you left behind are more significant to be considered as the GOAT.

The thing here is that most analysts and casters have been really quiet on T1's chances this Worlds so far. They've always been picked to be on the losing end against all the eastern teams they matched up with. This was fine for me coz I think the fewer expectations people have on them the better they perform. Less pressure and all that. My worry is the similarities of WBG and DRX 😆: -4th seeds in their region -TheShy/Deft birthdays -T1 beats JDG in semis, etc etc WBG is from LPL though, so maybe...😆 Also, Faker hasn't had that many real 'crazy plays' this year so far *compared* to previous years (Faker shockwave, 5-man Gnar ult, last year's Azir, etc) where he had big highlights but has always fallen short. He's been really quiet but stable. This I think is because the younger ones have been stepping up really hard so far. So maybe...

Also, these meaningless stats are more fun to listen to compared to when people discuss how X player from X team has an X percent win rate on X champion. Leave that for the game. And yes, I agree. @@nps1024very true my man, i say WBG had a very easy road compared to T1. Only beating an NA team, a 3rd seed LPL team (i consider LNG as 2nd) and it even took them 5 games to do so. To be honest, I dont even see WBG taking a single game from T1 and since like Keria said they wont underestimate anyone anymore and would like to go straight back to practice , thats right there is what separate this T1 difference from last year
