Usually, people saying that analysts are crazy when they say a team is weak even though they're in the finals, are correct (especially after the DRX run last year). However, this year, that was not the case. I will not discount what WBG have accomplished, they deserve second place, but the road they were paved was relatively easier. Still, this was definitely a superteam that did not have (or yet have) chemistry (like SKT 2019). Nevertheless, they were not greater than the sum of their parts unfortunately and was definitely the underdogs. Unlike DRX however, WBG did not make a run because they rode the meta, they made a run because of their teamfighting and the fact that their road was easier and they played against teams that were either weaker or even when it comes to teamfights. However, T1 has shown that this year, both meta and teamfighting prowess is with them (as seen against JDG). You could say that since their road was easier, they did not have enough practice to beat a team of T1's caliber, but that is too farfetched. T1 players showed that they were just on a different level, and you needed a team like JDG to compete with T1 in that form.

there is not any easier road than that of t1. Koreans are a heck of a matchfixing/cheating contenders infamously, in many sports throughout history. 7 koreans vs 3 chinese at both semi and quarter finals. T1 tarzan and scout brazenly inted. T1 kanavi and ruler ensued to their compatriot spy mission to perniciously throw the game. Ruler not buying stopwatch(while t1 had 4 members buying stopwatch) to enable faker's "BIG CATCH". kanavi run it down mid like a bronze and costing the baron. I really wonder if THESE PLAYERS ARE CHINESE REPRESENTING ON LCK TEAMS DOING THE EXACT THINGS. would they be still ignored and untouched by the community what a blasphamy to call them a world best team when they hav a express ticket to grand finals granted from their korean comrades. Congratz for delayed armed services to faker as well as tarzan, scout, kanavi and ruler.

Im still curious why they call it LOL World Championship when only on the Finals are mainly Asian Teams specially from China.Where are the Europe Teams,USA Teams when we gonna see atleast one time Europe Team vs USA Team on the final or USA and Europe team against Asia teams on the finals.I think its not fair for all Non Asian pro players in LOL that only Asians are on the finals,But it not surprise me because the game is Chinese so its normal the finals to be Asian teams,Thats why I stopped playing LOL and started playing Mobile Legends.
