I have the same swap in my gsr, nothing feels better than h series. They are rowdy af and I personally like them more than the k24/20 build in my old hatch and the type r build in my old ls.

Used stock civic harness. Just used a different charge harness for alternator. Maybe extend a few plugs, but yes factory civic harness used. With Obd1 chipped ecu. Dyno tuned as well

What ecu are you using? Just did mine jdm h22a black top. Having problems with rpm moving and after a few minutes running the engine hesitates up and down.

Hey buddy, i got a ek, with a h22a with a T2t4 lSd trans. I bought yonakas swap axles with the half shaft. My problem is the half shaft goes all the way in till about an inch left. I wanted to use a hammer an try to tap it in but I don’t wanna try to beat it in and mess up anything on the trans. I’m just wondering what trans you used with what swap axles so I can finish my build I put a built bottom h22 with springs retainers top mount turbo manifold turbo, tial 44mm wastegate, skunk2 2 intake manifold and some other goodies but I’m caught up on this half shaft deal.

The half shaft bolt holes are lined up? I have the exact same setup up in EK and yonaka axle set, mines went in no problem

BigSoup345 Haha 😂 I shit you not I tried sliding that axle in 2 days ago and it slid right in. All the other times I was babying it in but the last time I man handled it and it went in. Every other time I have done an axle change it would just slide in. I feel so dumb haha. Guess I was being too cautious. Thanks though for your response buddy. I really appreciate it. 95% of the forums on Honda Tech and similar forums are from 2010 so getting a response from them are pretty difficult sometimes.

BoostedLude so at the moment I’m using eBay MMR swap mounts, they bolt right up no problem. They don’t come with the rear T bracket so I ordered the rear mount for 90$ from innovative. I’m eventually gonna get hasport billet mounts but I figured mine would be great for breaking the new engine in. And they are like $95 so they will work for a bit.
