Back in 2013-14 a set used to run for $800 or more for the lights alone with no bulbs compared to around $300 today. The reason why it's still expensive is because they come from a car that was never sold in the USA, so they're still pretty rare and much harder for sellers to source them.

i have to say i really like this mod, i was a bit curious about the wiring gauge used and if I were to make the wiring setup myself is it optional to run a 7443 socket for the turn signal than the 7440 socket?

I used 16 gauge wire at the time, and I'm pretty sure you can use 7443 as long as you can make the socket fit inside the housing. I used a dremel on my old 9005 LED low beam bulbs so they would fit in the 9006 socket for the Inspire high beam.

Yes, they are OEM JDM. I got the headlights from ebay and the bulbs from Amazon Japan. I have a link to a google doc in the description, but there's an adapter cable for $10 that allows you to plug the HID ballasts into the stock connector.

They only turn on when the headlights are on, either in low beam or just parking light mode. If you turn them off they'll be off completely

Yes they only come on with the parking and low beams. You can probably look up how to disable the high beam DRL if you don't want it or do some other wiring setup

Hey you should do a courtesy light upgrade for the back doors the inspire has them but the top trim models , U S accords has red reflectors and none ever received the back courtesy lights. The hole is there for adding one...

@@MrCutlash I didn't have any issues with them when I had this car. I just had to aim the left side low enough that it wouldn't blind oncoming drivers. On country roads with no street lights oncoming traffic would flash back at me occasionally but in cities it's fine.

@@NoPointOfThis123 Ooh, nice. Does the 06-07 inspire bumper also have the lower side facelift that the Accord bumpers got? I've been looking at "7.5 gen mod" Accords and I like that even more, especially with the HFP kit. The goat setup for me would be HFP lip kit 7.5 gen Inspire bumper, with the Inspire grill, hood, and headlights. I'd probably pair that with the Duraflex H-sport or C2 side skirts and rear bumper, or one of the similarly styled ones from AIT or VIS racing and call the body finished. Actually, the more I look at it, the more I think that Duraflex H-sport is just a repro of the famous HFP lip kit that supposedly is now unobtanium... Might have to double down, now.

@@Drunken_Hamster All the Inspires from 03-07 had the "facelift" style front bumper with the fog lights, but 06-07 had the headlights plus a different style grille. And yeah OEM lip can be extremely hard to find and very expensive if you ever do find one.

@@NoPointOfThis123 By OEM do you mean true oem and possibly already painted? Because as I implied, I found a bunch of clones, not just the Duraflex H-sport. Oh, and on top of that, I discovered there are actually 3 different types of the HFP front lip. The pre-facelift style for the recessed "teeth", the post-facelift style that also has slightly higher side wings, and the "aspec" style that's almost like a half bumper, and it wraps around the fogs and is also intended for the facelift style bumper teeth location. This is the one that I think looks the best, so it's good to hear that the inspire bumpers all have the facelift style lower teeth/cutout width.

Yes the low beams in these are D2S which are only available as HID since they use a ballast to power the bulbs. I used to have LED in my stock headlights as well, but these are brighter plus they don't blind oncoming traffic

The bulbs in the description will work as turn signals for the rear, for stock headlights you need 9006 LED low beam and 9005 for high beam. The other bulbs will only work on Inspire headlights

Here in Ohio it's legal to use white turn signals. So I matched up my Auxbeam LED Hi/Lo to my Parking/Turn signals. It looks freakin good. Now my friends are doing the same thing :) Oh yeah, I have a 02' Accord.

It should be the same steps as this video to get the headlights and bumper off. Bumper has a few extra bolts on the bottom as well. If it has both a sunroof and volume controls on the steering wheel it's an EX.

I installed an LED turn signal relay which goes above the drivers footwell. Resistors make LEDs use as much power as a stock bulb, but with the relay they don't hyperflash and still save battery power. You can find this by looking up "LM526 LED Flasher Relay"

I'm not sure if they make LED D2S, because D2S bulbs are originally HID. But they are very bright anyways as long as you buy a good brand.

The turn signals are 7440. 7443 is only for the brake lights, which look like nearly the same bulb but they won't actually work in the turn signals

I just did a basic drawing but there's not really a full diagram. The plug for the DRL and Turn Signal has 3 wires on the stock harness. The middle wire is ground, and the outer 2 are each power with 1 being for one bulb and 1 for the other. You just need to split the harness, run the ground wire to both, and each respective power to the correct bulb (can check which one flashes turn signal using a multimeter.) The low beams can be done using a $10 amazon harness in the Google doc.

Also from ebay if you type in "CL7 Hazard Switch" for 03-05 cars and "CL9 Hazard Switch" for 06-07. The connectors are different in both so make sure you get the right one.

At 13:03 you can see the adjustment screws in the picture, it's the circular gold ones. There are 2 adjustment screw on the outer parts of the headlights that can be adjusted the same as the low beam.

The ballasts were replacements for a 2008 Acura MDX (made by Matsushita, same as stock Inspire.) And the headlight brackets were just the stock ones off the car

I put an LED flasher relay from Diode Dynamics instead. That way it doesn't hyper flash and the LED's don't use as much power as they would with resistors.
