PLEASE do more interviews like this. I would love to sit down with so many of the legendary tuners and hear all their stories and document them. We have a finite amount of time with them before their gone. Let them go completely grandpa telling stories.
So Honored to meet him at the Tokyo Auto Salon this year. My FD Spirit R Type A now have his signature on the driver sun visor. Thank you so much Ama San for all you have made for the Rotary World. A French FD owner
Thank you for this. I'm a 28 from the USA, and man seeing his fighting spirit still burning strong at 77 is so damn inspirational. Mr Amemiya has inspired and encouraged countless amounts of car enthusiasts all around the world by living and staying true to himself. We'll continue to emulate his passion and spirit for years to come. Thank you Option!! (especially for the subtitles in English!)✌

I'm a 26 year old guy from France. If there is ONE man that I respect and admire the most, it's him. Mr Amemiya. If I had to chose someone else's life to live again I would chose his. Thanks for this video

TRULY LEGENDARY. This man is one of a kind. His story only scratches the surface of struggles and hardships he's been through. Powerful hero! 👑
My FD was built by his "rival" Fujita-san, but Ama-san stands on his own as the one true rotary legend. it was an absolute honor to run into him at 2014 WTAC, and he was so kind to sign my Mazda hat. Fantastic to see him still going strong at 77!

I will never forget the day i meet RE Amemiya san at Tokyo Auto Salon 2017. i was teary eyed and smiling ear to ear, got so much merch and autographed goods. Being a FD and FC owner i still want to learn more about them! Great interview Option Video and THANK YOU!
Love this format, thank you for the subtitles ! I hope to see more JDM legend soon ! Mr Amemiya is so inspiring, it feels good to see him still enjoying his job
Mr Amemiya deserves an hour or two interview like this. He has so many stories to tell, with all the cars he created, how tuning was and changed throughout time, GT racing etc. And he's not going to be with us forever

Thank you for the english subtitles so we can get some valuable insight from the legend Amemiya-san!
It's so good to see this man still kicking butt...and looking so full of life and vitality. A true legend. I have an FD3S and several parts from REA and I have nothing but pride in having them. Long may he reign as the rotary tuning god. Thank you for this awesome interview. I wish it were longer!

He is a real legend, love from bangladesh 🇧🇩🤝🏻🇯🇵 💝💝💝
At first I'm so excited watching this videos. Japanese channel are usually deep and comprehensive when they story about automotive. But this video is only skin deep story telling. Tastes just like an appetizers, no meat. I don't know, i hope maybe only the translation is simplified, not the topic. I wish i understood Japanese language better.

Ame-san just speaking his mind on "on-media" mode, don't worry, I'd guess your Japanese is fine.

He's the reason why Im still dedicate on saving my money for SA22C after the FC and FD price skyrocket..
Obviously age has caught up with all these legendary tuners, including Mine's Niikura-san and Top Secret's Smokey Nagata-san, hopefully there's new younger generation who will eventually carry on their tuning philosophy and legacy.

Sadly sports cars and tuning is dying in Japan, and all over the world really...the boom was the 80s-2000s. But I'm sure there will still be a small percentage coming around

a hardful truth, even a third-world country like mine, in Thailand, you can see EV cars running around on the street in regular basis already.
