RV Lake Scott, Kansas. Sand Creek Massacre site. Relaxation and HISTORY! S01: E04

In today's episode, we're heading to Lake Scott State Park near Scott City, Kansas! We found this place last year when we were just DESPERATE to get out of the house and do something! It also inspired the path we're taking now. So it's only fitting that we came back here, but this time armed with cameras! This place is all about serenity... Except for the loud partiers across the lake, but hey, they're just having fun and I can appreciate that. We do some fishing (not bad), do some hiking, visiting the Steele homestead and some ancient Pueblo ruins! And on the way home, we visit the Punished Woman Fork and the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site. Lots of somber history in this episode, but we should never forget the darker chapters of history... So that we never repeat them. Our RV life is shaping into something infectious...
