Somehow the Chiefs are still the only team without a single L thus far. I think this really highlights just how obsessed fans and the media are with the offense (primarily the QB and WR positions) that the rest of the team is overlooked. Mahomes has one of the best offensive line units protecting him, but most people don't really care about the unsung heroes of the offense (kind of sad, honestly, considering the o-line guys sacrifice their bodies and long-term health to keep their QB safe). Despite losing pieces over the years, the Chiefs defense has remained consistently good to hold out when it's the opponent's turn for ball possession. Once again, defense keeps getting overlooked cause they rarely score points. This is a hallmark of a good team, where the team can still perform at a high level despite missing core pieces. Sadly, unless the offensive line or defense can consistently score points, mainstream media and fans will forever be swooning over QBs and WRs (and the occasional RB) while overlooking the other members of the team who also play their part to stay competitive.

I like how the AFC has been completely bullied by the Chiefs for the past 6 years and they still do trades with KC happily for minimal gain.
