I really enjoyed playing this with my friends on PSP back in 08 or 09. We always played the multiplayer hunter mode. Such a cool game for a PSP game, even in singleplayer with the variety of the businesses possible.

I'm also replaying VCS right now but on the Steam Deck through Emudeck. Playing through it, takes me back.. this was like my 3rd GTA game ever played back then (GTA SA -> GTA LCS -> GTA VCS). Such an underrated gem..

As a side note, I've always loved how the Molotov explosion looked on the ground in VCS; it's actually quite a realistic recreation of how the fuel pool spreads and ignites, something I don't see often in games' interpretation of Molotovs Also please make 4:24:12 a highlight LMAO

I couldn't be there on livestream, but I watched the VOD on Twitch and I will watch the VOD here as well. Josh, you are basically the reason why I gave this game a second chance. I played it once on PS2 and hated it, but playing the PSP version on Vita... it's just so much better, easily comes as one of my favourite games in the series. So, uh... thanks :D

This game really needs a PC version or port of some kind. It's so freaking great. btw brightness issue was really unsolvable as the AI filter was crushing the blacks, pretty much unrecoverable shadow information

Regarding the NMG cutscene% of this, I'd b genuinely interested, not just for the clickbait of "forgotten GTA game is actually the best of the bunch? AI upscaled! Gone wrong!" title, more so for the actual story which I keep hearing about being good but not actually seeing much of it since... yk... speed

PS2 version is better emulated tbh from my experience, minus lack of MP. Compared to LCS which did cut more on PS2 port content wise.

it's a shame that people don't watch VCS as much, i'd really love to see it more often SA is really confusing to me and the run is long and messy, but this game's any% route makes more sense to me and it's a lot more fun to watch (and looks more fun to play), plus it's my favorite gta game too! it's just a shame that it looks the way it does, i don't mind the graphics at all myself, but yea
