Kareem played 4 years in college and won 3 National Titles at UCLA. Kareem's record would not be broken if he had been allowed to start at 19 years old. So basically, Lebron actually got an earlier start and had an advantage to score more points than Kareem. Not to mention, Kareem didn't have the advantage of scoring 3's because it wasn't adopted until 10 years after he became a pro. And let's not forget the 10,000 points Lebron got that came from him traveling and is constantly not called. Kareem had to actually dribble.

Reese is currently a lot more talk than substance. This could change with time. Right now though, she is a liability to her team. She only scores 1/3 of her layups. She is slow in both offensive and defensive rotations. She doesn't get in position for pick n rolls or screens very well. Now that last bit could be why her offensive boards are high. She seems to prioritize getting into position for boards as fast as possible. Given that they play below the rim fg% is lower. Dunks just increase efficiency. So the scores are going to be lower due to the volume of layups and average shooting. Offensive boards just happen way more often. The W as a whole seems to put emphasis on slashers and iso post play under the rim. These possessions are supposed to be less risky than a contested mid or long range jump shot. So 33% just is a problem. She also generates a lot of fouls. This can lead to free possessions and points for the other team when they make their free throws. It's OK with a high volume guard because they can score to make up for it. With Reese those points aren't generated. She is often in foul trouble early in games and either has to be benched to protect the team or is prime target for attacking in the 4th quarter leading uncontested bucks while she is being less aggressive. Her team is struggling as a whole and are trying to make up for it with aggression and hard play. They can't afford for her to be generating so many points for the opposition.

Diana Taurasi made a huge deal of her three championships..... at UConn.... a women's college championship machine that had a loaded squad that included Sue Bird, Asjha Jones and other WNBA and College legends. How many top college women were on Clark's team? She still made it to the final four twice at IOWA!!. Name for me ANY top NBA players that WERE their COLLEGE basketball team. Maybe Shaq at LSU? I don't know as much about the WNBA as I do the NBA as a lifelong fan of one and not the other, but the little I have seen about the WNBA and how it treats it's rookies..... Just not sure it's something I want to continue to even put any effort into. Is Diana Taurasi a great ball player? Yeah. Is she capable of being the face of a league. Obviously not. Is she capable of, at this point in her career, putting up the stats that Clark does? Obviously not. Is she capable of destroying the league through pettiness and gatekeeping? We shall see.

Angel never has any compliments to any WNBA players other than herself. Here's one for you Angel. If Caitlin wasn't in the WNBA you and your team would be playing in a high school size gym. If Caitlin, was playing and you were not they'd still be packing arenas and not a living soul would miss you and your cocky attitude and bad sportsmanship . Why not stop acting like what your not , step back and think before you talk and try to enjoy your good fortunes to be part of history.

WNBA has been playing in NBA sized gyms since the league started lol. You act like there was no league before CC... maybe you didn't know there was one until now, which makes you a "casual" fan lol.

I was referring to the size of the fan base and the locations of where they were playing are not like they are this year and the numbers of the attendance.

Q: If Clark is not great, but better than Reese, then what is Reese? A: B$#@!

There was a great opportunity for the WNBA, but having to wade thru all the crap, I’m out, good luck ladies, I’m going back to watching paint dry, at least it doesn’t have B fights.

Swoops statement was a lie. Should have been corrected by you! Envy and jealousy especially from Taurasi and Stewart. As good as they are they couldn’t bring the league into the spotlight like CC has.

Wonder why Taurasi hasn't been asked is how's CC playing against grown a$$ woman now. 😮 She's looking pretty good to me. Top 15 player in league. 😅

There are a lot of teams who have old timers in a roster who are not really needed for their skills anymore. They want to give Taurasi her 8th gold medal and she fits the team and everyone knows her. Clark doesn't seem to be very liked among many WNBA players and if there is a doubt that one player could damange team spirit and dynamics, that person can do more harm than good. In the name of sports and for visibility (marketing) she should have been chosen. It is easy to understand why she wasn't selected. It would have been nice to see her there so in my opinion she should have been selected. That might have triggered even more hate in some WNBA players though. Women's basketball will not get a lot of spectators at the olympics. Clark would have added few million views. US team doesn't need her there though. They don't have any true competition so gold medal is like a walk in a park.

Swoopes' takes on CC continue, to this day, to be hate driven & poorly conceived/researched. I've seen her on several podcasts recently & in media interviews...she inarguably despises the young woman, & there's got to be some reason(s) for it. I believe, just because of the consistency between so many prominent women in & around the W, that these women have huddled up behind the scenes in venom-laced conversations, & all agree that CC is a problem. They believe her to be overrated, & they're furious that this white woman is getting so much credit/love, when they think it ought to instead be going to them. But, because they realize that they're all about to get paid & recognized as a result of her greatness & fame, they're towing the line & keeping everything complimentary in publicly-facing comments. I'm totally kidding of course, they're fumbling their own bag away like hapless silent film robbers by tripping all over themselves to spew hate on CC in every way they possibly can, embarrassing themselves in the process as they're all revealed to be petty, envious, & resentful women.

Time for an alternative and many wealthy businessmen will put pressure on the league maybe even forming the alternative like the ABA ...D. Taurasi talks about the pre woke wNBA where mentorship of the upcoming talent was an insurance plan for the league now it is merit and especially when the Golden Goose does not fit the mold or current culture in the w ... CC has very quickly become the face of the w as no other player has her fan appeal so if the w does not PIVOT and protect their ticket to the big money they will lose, and a new league will put them out of business ..pettiness and sexual preference are personal can we just play Basketball and embrace that ...sure hope so for the w's sake .. either way CC is already the biggest DRAW in all of Sports and one way or another will find herself on the Olympic Team or there will be many firings at the TOP of the w ..NBC has Billions invested and CC is the return on that investment ..wake up or go defunct wNBA .. the numbers now prove that out and in business that is all that matters.
