I'm 45 and I had a friend who's 10 years older then me and everytime I had a friend over that wasn't her she would get so upset/mad cuz I invited someone becides her over..I mean we could've spent the whole day together and she would still act up..texting me saying I'm a bad friend and I don't deserve other friends..I blocked her..I miss her alot cuz we were friends for like 8 years but I couldn't handle the toxic friendship any longer..haven't talked or seen her in 8 months..i honestly don't know what I'd do if she offered an apology..

I had a friend like this and I had to sit down and explain to them that the way the behavior in a friendship isn’t normal and that I’m not their romantic partner so they shouldn’t be so possessive and obsessive. But In the end I ended up having to let that friend go anyway

It’s one thing being uneasy about the idea of your partner hanging out one on one with someone who has a huge crush on them or whatever. It’s not normal to get upset when your partner sees their friends without bringing you along, or puts their phone down for a few hours to hang out with their family. If someone is doing those things, it’s only going to get worse, and it’s going to turn into an abusive situation very quickly if you don’t break up. People who expect to be the only thing on your mind 24/7 are just bad news. Awful news.

Missy and I were born the same year and lived about 20 miles apart. This case really got to me when it happened. We had a lot in common. I followed it when it happened and was as horrified as everyone when the truth came out. Even weirder was Eva Chirumbolo lived next door to me when I was in my 20’s 😱 I didn’t put that together until after she moved out of the building. I would’ve had some questions for her! It’s always been my theory that Eva was far more involved than she claims… I think that she was a big part of torturing her with the beating and bullying, and only ran when it started turning deadly. I think she also cut her hair. If ii weren’t for her coming forward the case wouldn’t have been solved, so I’m grateful for that. Karen is a horrible piece of garbage and it makes me sick that she’s out and still spreading lies. She was the mastermind… Laura was a follower.

I agree, especially since it was Eva’s knife that was used to cut Missy’s hair, and her bandana from her knife that tied Missy’s hands behind her back. Plus the information from Missy’s sister in law that in Missy’s purse was a photo of Eva’s boyfriend, Johnny. Karen claims this information in her book as well (I know she’s not a reliable narrator and a monster, but if she claims this information and so does Missy’s own family it’s probably true)

@@ZaraVsorry for the delay! Yes… I quite liked her. She was married to a real POS named Mike and he seemed to be pretty controlling. We abruptly stopped talking because he was super possessive of her. She moved out and I never saw her again. I’ve become friendly with Missy’s sister in law through her work with Missy’s Law. I told her my connection. I do think Eva was genuinely remorseful for her part in this… that’s why I think she came forward. The reason the girls didn’t get first degree murder was because the jury didn’t believe Eva was an innocent bystander.

This poor girl deserved a life surrounded by love and happiness and instead was killed by people she trusted. As a mother I worry so much, my daughter is almost 12 and starting high school next year. If she was ever treated this way I wouldn't be forgiving.. I can't believe this girls are out and free and trying to make money on their 'friend' that they took! So sick and twisted. My best friend in high school was the same way you described your friend as being. She was especially bad anytime I started dating anyone. She never had a boyfriend all throughout high school and she was incensed whenever I did. There was some hardcore jealousy going on. I have referred to her as an emotional vampire. Anytime I was happy she wanted to suck that right out of me. In hindsight, I don't know why I kept her as a friend as long as I did. It probably would have better served both of us to not be around one another.

I actually had a friend like that. While my boyfriend was in Romania (he's in the army) she like him so she accused me of cheating and then invited me to her house. At the time I was struggling with depression and was planning on overdosing that night but she pressured me to stay so I drank a lot then got tunnel vison and just started taking the pills in front of her and 3 other ppl and she gave me more pills and alcohol then when I left they laughed about it. A few months after I got out of the hospital and having nothing to do with them we got in an argument and I ended up having to call the cops

I honestly had friends gang up on me and wish me dead. They said death was coming for me. One stalked me and I had her arrested. Later one of them actually found the other one dead. And I still believe the one ex friend of mine got so jealous of the other pretty one she did her end... helped h 3:26 er anyways. But they had both wished death on me and one of them winds up dead. They would apologize but would teeter totter from hatred to love. Be careful what you wish for. My entire family is law enforcement. Even though I am tough I was told to NEVER go off with them and the reference to this exact case was brought up. Unreal. Jealousy is a useless, wasted emotion that just destroys EVERYONE INVOLVED.
