You do not sober up at all. What happens is you will get a sudden surge of adrenaline, and suddenly you are awake, coherent, but still drunk. You will be wide awake but you will still be just a wide awake drunk. Nothing can sober someone up except time.

I lived in Traralgon at the time this happened. It’s approx 20 mins drive between Traralgon and Moe. Greg (Dom-a-savich) lived on a main road and they had to drive past his house to get to Bilynda’s house. There were so many discrepancies in this case and it was totally stuffed up.

As a person who was a young mom at 17. I have definitely been stupid at times to get a little break. Once my sons father wanted to take me out on a date and he knew a couple that were super sweet and would watch our son. I trusted him even though I didn't really know these people. We dropped him off and went out to dinner and he was older than me so he got us a couple of beers. Soon my sons father got a call and left outside saying it was to smoke. The plan was for our son to stay over night with his friends so we could have alone night together. When he came back in to eat he said that Julien was fine. When I woke up the next morning Ryan was on the edge of the bed freaking out. I asked what was wrong and he then confessed that the people who were his "friends" were saying we won't get Julien back unless we bring them thousands of dollars. I freaked! A million things ran through my mind " were they hurting him" was he already dead. Let me tell you! That was the worst moment of my life. I called police immediately and thankfully we got Julien quickly and they shrugged it off as "joking" about keeping Julien. I took him to the hospital and they did a rape test on him and thank God nothing sexual happened to him in that time. I am so thankful hearing stories like this that my son didn't die because my young mom mind just wanted alone time. Never again. Julien hasn't left my side since this only while at daycare that have proper security and background checks when I work.

Wow that is so insane that you went through that! I couldn’t even imagine. Totally understand where you’re coming from as a I wasn’t a young mom so I wouldn’t know. I’m so glad you got Julien and he was safe. What type of friend was that?! If you don’t mind answering, how old was Julien and how long did the friends have him before you got him back? The police didn’t charge them? Argh!

@@ZaraV thankfully as soon as Ryan told me the police and us showed up at their door about 15 minutes later. They had him for about 8 hours before my ex told me what they said. There was no evidence that they were keeping him hostage because they said it to Ryan over the phone and he wasn't hurt so we had no case for charges. Julien was 2 years old at the time. He is 9 now and happy and healthy. So thankful that my idiot decisions when I was young didn't get him hurt or worst killed. My heart goes out to this boy who had to lose his life 💔

Hey Zara, I’m a new subscriber and I’m working my way through all of your videos (they’re great by the way!) I haven’t commented on any videos but this one I HAD to, it may be an unpopular opinion but I firmly believe both Birlynda and Gregg are responsible and know what happened to poor Jaidyn. There is absolutely no way on this earth that I’d neglect a phone call saying my baby boy is in hospital with burns, and carry on drinking enjoying myself. Birlynda agreed for Gregg to only babysit Jaidyn, when she originally had plans for a babysitter to watch both children for the night, she was absolutely in on this! She also stood by ‘her man’ Gregg following Jaidyn’s abduction story when it’s super obvious nobody abducted him. As you stated he was also said to of had a fractured rib - occurring weeks before his death, how can a mother not be aware of this? I had my first child at 16, and I know sometimes young age can brush off as naive parenting etc, but I can assure you this would never affect my maternal instincts that something is wrong with my baby. This is such a truly awful case, poor baby Jaidyn and the pain he must of been in, my heart absolutely breaks for him. These poor babies deserve so much better, I can only hope he’s resting in peace now 😔💙 Thanks so much for covering this case and bringing awareness to it. I’m from the UK and had never heard of it before!

I had my son in 97 and no it wasn't normal to leave a 1 year old baby alone at anytime and the fact he'd got a burst lip and a burn in the short time this man had him I'd have been on my way as soon as the phone was put down. Jaiden had an accident and when nobody could find him he was getting rid of Jaidens body. This is exactly why nobody apart from my parents babysat my son.

Wow. I babysat for my friend's first little one for a couple of years and even if I had to go to the loo, I would strap the child into the stroller and park her outside the bathroom with the door ajar so I could know where she was at all times. I'm no mother, but I'm in charge of someone else's precious child. Even if I have to catheterize myself in order to keep an eye on the child every second...nothing will happen to that kid on my watch. I will jump in front of a moving vehicle if I'm babysitting your child.

While I disagree with Belinda's actions throughout the whole day I wonder if because she was so young she just didn't know any better. Plus her sister kinda shrugged it off and if Greg was abusive she wouldn't question him. Maybe she just really didn't know better I mean she became a mom quickly and so young and by an older man then Greg was also older and possibly abusive I just wonder if she really didn't understand that things weren't adding up

Girl, I do not know how you do it these child cases. I'm gonna have to start skipping past them. Cause what?!? I'm sad for the mom, but I agree with you. There is an absolutely no way. I would have been like, no, you need to bring my son here right now before I even left to go to the party. Like, there's just no way I would have called police. Like this guy has now kidnapped my son because he was supposed to have Come back at this time and he's refusing to return him. It would have just not gone down that for me.. First of all, my daughter would have not gone to be with nobody that abuses her in the first place. But. Young and dumb, I guess. Poor baby. So do sad AND NO JUSTICE?? 💔💔💔💔 ugh absolutely disgusting and I hope he gets what he deserves

I got a lot of questions for more than just Greg after hearing that baby had weeks old broken ribs. Was that baby dropped off alive ?!was he abusive to her and her child and something happened and she was gonna help him cover it up. This is weird. I kept thinking he was the Dad that’s why he wanted him, but he wasn’t and he didn’t take him anywhere fun. And I’m 40, he absolutely should have had a cordless phone in 1997. They’d gotten much cheaper by then but cordless phones had been out when I was a kid. Also people had ridiculous long phone cords !!! Plus pagers. And everyone had an answering machine by then. Ones you could call and ck msgs, Plus everyone memorized phone numbers and he’d be expected to have called from the hospital. That would be the norm. Take the kid and while the drs looked at him you’d call the mother from the damn hospital.Maybe call his answering machine but really you’d just likely call and check in. Either w a pay phone or use the hospital phone. Plus at the point where she has called 20 times you would just go over there and literally leave a note on the door. And if she knew the neighbor she would call her possibly leave a note w her. Then go to the hospital- why wouldn’t she have gone up there and seen or looked forger kid. She called 20x. You’d get up and go out and look for him cos 20x sound worried. Honestly at the least he had a long ass phone cord and had all his numbers memorized. People ck’d in esp when babysitting. This is weird No in 97 it would not be normal to leave a baby alone. At least not admit to it. Might do it to be gone down the block really really quick telling your friend they better be ready to jump in the car and it would be like the neighborhood bar and you’d not do it and want someone to find out. but you’d be nervous and try and see how far the baby monitor went. You might leave the baby w a sibling but who at the youngest would be maybe 8 (that’s a big maybe for the nighttime and w a baby)but more likely 10,11,12. And it would depend on how long you were gone. So no a baby would be expected to be brought by most people back then.

Idk I don’t think we can speak for anyone else not even ourselves half the time until we’ve been in her shoes if she was super drunk and he was purposely making her feel like it wasn’t a huge deal I can see her just taking his word for it that the issue was minor , but I can tell you having been drunk and having something happen to a friend or a child I wouldn’t have kept drinking I would have at the very least made an attempt to get or see my child , as parents we are obliged to make better choices having children in general, so maybe not drink as much as she did knowing that anything could happen and her kid might need her at any time .

Before there were cell phones, we would call information and get a neighbor's number, or a friend/relative nearby and have them walk over and check 😂 or in the worst case, the police lol

This is such a weird case. Like the mom was very relaxed about a lot of things, which typically would be ok but idk. Something just doesn’t add up

I did NOT expect this outcome at all. This is definitely Casey Anthony 2.0… smh. A murderer set free. 😢

I watched another video on this sad case put out by 60 Minutes Australia. At the end they do an interview with Greg, This is about 20 years later. I don't know why he did the interview because it made him look even worse. This is one of those cases where you know who killed Jaidyn but he got away with it--like Casey Anthony. In the court of public opinion, this guy was convicted--for good reason. True Crime Brewery also did this sad story.

My sister and I disagree on almost everything. But we always knew we would never fight about 3 things: our parents health/death, money or men. Ever. Thankfully we agree on religion and politics!

I wonder if he had been abusing the little boy prior to this incident when the mom was not around , this is why you can’t leave them around with just anyone specially if they are not the father . It was obvious he murdered the little boy specially with all the lying he was doing . I can’t believe he just went to dump him under water . He was hoping his body wouldn’t be found . This breaks my heart for that baby .

Still at the beginning of the video, but hearing that Halloween isn't really celebrated and trick or treating hasn't really been that big of a thing there has me curious about it. Is there a reason for it or is it something that there's just no exact reason? Of course know countries celebrate holidays differently, learning about holiday differences has just always interested me. Especially when getting to hear from someone who lives in that place as with info articles, I've learned a lot of that info often doesn't match up with what the people will say about it. *If trick or treating does become bigger, making special bags with treats for the neighbor kids you actually know is apparently extra exciting. Old lady next door does that, my kid and all the neighbor kiddos always make her house the first stop now lol. The lady also gets excited when she sees she knows them and hurries off saying hold on cause she has extra treats just for them haha

Doesn't matter how much I've had to drink if ANYTHING happens to one of my loved ones, I sober up and I'm ON IT immediately. This is sooooo wierd and confusing. Just so weird. And the Pigs head WTF? Got to listen to the rest of this . . . . .

I am with you there are way too many inconsistencies in this story because the whole time he was trying to cover this hospital story he never seemed to be shocked that the baby was gone and I would have been frantic if the windows were broken and would have looked for the child instead of looking for stolen items in my opinion because I would have thought the child could have hid being scared or something but OH my gosh this story is insane because there is too many questions about the Dad.

No absolutely not normal to leave ur child at home.... also I would have been freaking out like u.. I am also confused but as soon as I herd my child had a burn weather or not he was in hospital and if I was out at a party I would have been right there for my child. That would sober me up. 100%

So this a weird question I’ve never understand, do you call your seasons the same as ours or do you call like what we call summer time winter? Or do you do both like depending if it’s a fellow Aussie or someone else. I now that sounds dumb but I’ve wondered for a while. Are you like sitting around talking about what a “cold summer you’ve been having.” Or like “this winter heat is the worst in years”?? I need to know lol

The seasons are different in Australia due to the location on the globe, their winter occurs during the US summer season and vice versa

This story is so f*cked up, I'm sorry not sorry if I was told my child was in the hospital nothing is stopping me from going there. None of this makes any sense. Why would she leave the baby with him hours before she was to go out? Why would he even babysit if she had arrangements for another sitter to watch him at night? That was when she was going out! He has an abusive relationship with her and his X and you let him watch your 1 year-old child. None of it makes sense. Why did he want to watch the child at all is my question and why would she let him, the sister is just as fruity as she is, for one I no matter how much I love my sisters I would think that if you cheated with my husband that I wouldn't be talking to you let alone going out and partying! She is at fault just as much as the crazy a**hole that did this to this child.
