Over 25 years ago I could not stand this guy named Benny Hinn, till I went with a friend of mine who served in his ministry and then I understood how I had misjudged in thinking and realized my jealousy, for my desire was for an anointing as powerful. Thankfully The Holy Spirit was teaching me those things and developing in me a strength to carry that which I could bear and still do. Most importantly to seek the giver of the gift, for He is the giver of life itself and all that comes to us. When you learn from your judgements and allow the Holy Spirit to bring that correction, God continues to give you more insight and deeper fellowship with Him and above it all should be simply seeking the deepest fellowship you can possibly have with Him!

Thanks so much! Paul had to go through jealousy too! I recently had a woman come against me. I didn't even know her that well. Not many words were spoken, but she called me names. It all makes me sad. I love Jesus, so He helps me to forgive her.

You're confusing jealousy and envy. Jealousy is a fear of being replaced. Envy is looking at what someone has, power, position, or material things and wanting what they have.

How about when you meet someone for the first time who has the Holy Spirit and they say: "Have I met you before? Where do I know you from?" And you have never met them... You are linked by the same Spirit. They recognize the familiar Holy Spirit residing in them is also in you! Another example is when the Holy Spirit wants you to pay attention to what someone is saying in church...He stokes the Spirit Fire within you...so you pay attention and know it is from Him. Or...when you start to witness or talk and let the Spirit take over and you feel wave after wave of anointing while you are talking? That is discerning of the Spirit too. :)

Uh, . . . . Wow! Its what has happened with the election!!!! Wow! Communism!! Jealousy!! Oh my goodness! Almost like a crying kicking baby that yells, "Not fair!" When everything about their situation was. Very good message that clears things up here in March 2017. I know this is an old sermon but my goodness its right on target so true from Gods word!!!
