She's the greatest and a wonderful person. I grew up on her block and she was and still is so kind to me when I see Jean. She invited me to the house when I was young and watched her play and she is great at all sports. Godspeed Jean and family!

When I saw her play on the mike Douglas show . She got me hooked on the sport. Thanks Jean you're still one of my idols. I'm still playing and when a female beats me I know they played very well. I hope you are happy and healthy for ever and a day!#sunnyside of excellence.

Six & a half years old , she was like the Tiger Woods of pool in her day,she should be a multi millionaire today ,but didn’t have the support she deserved.what a shame, still she’s a hero to me

Most people don't call pool a sport. Pool players are the poets of sports.

""High run of 34." Not balls run but pro tournaments won in a row.

I played her once at Ovington Cue in Brooklyn. She had to stand on an old milk box to make long shots. She almost won.

Did he say she has a high run of 34? I highly doubt it, probably more like 334. And men posses a much more powerful break, a huge advantage at 9-ball. But her 9-ball break is pretty good too.

I wish that JEAN had had the support of her colleagues like BILLIE JEAN KING did in the world of TENNIS. The "girls" JEAN played with at that time were not interested in furthering the game of BILLIARDS for women (an exception being EWA MATTAYA) - the "bitches" JEAN played with during this time were more interested in "killing her off" due to her ability so JEAN could not compete NOR win titles and JEAN finally gave up because she was fighting a losing battle against the very people she thought were trying to promote the sport for EVRYONE (not just women). JEAN, in my opinion, finally decided to quit the game because the "bitches" that were supposed to be part of a family were NOT backing each other up. It is so sad - I wish JEAN had continued.
