The music is haunting in this version. It sings fear, sadness, and hope. This is the closest Morph to confessing their feelings. I wouldn't rule out a bisexual Logan, given that Scott/Jean/Logan happened in the comics (I'm guessing they were both Jean's dudes for a bit and didn't get intimate with each other, but I dunno). But this is still probably just for drama and heartache for Morph, not a legit connection beyond friends. Morph and Logan always had a bromance going. That being said. In the OG series. Logan protected Morph. It is no secret Wolverine loves Jean Grey. He is doing something that any 'true' friend would give you. A reason to keep fighting. And Wolverine. In every version ever dreamed of. Is a warrior. Willing to fight to the end. Wolverine would lay down to protect any of them. If he felt it was the best option. And even Magneto knows that. Magneto did it to put Logan out of action; knowing it might kill him. Not because he wanted to. It was the best tactical choice. Why, Wolverine meant what he said. He was not going to stop until Magneto was dead. If any of the X-Men died in that battle. Logan would seek revenge until his death!

I really like Peter's little redesign here.
