Saw JLP in 1988@ The Pabst Theater in Milwaukee WI. And this was the last song of the show. They blew the roof off the place!

Jamie is on a friggin Rampage and Rayford's double bass drum work is THE BEST, Wally fingers are Bionic and Baron looks like he's at a disco and the bass is playing all by itself !... Band was hot on this tour. Glaser does a nice solo. But would have loved to have Holdsworth on this track.

I’ve listened to the studio version way, way, way too many times to count. I guess this is a reasonable facsimile thereof.
@RobertBeatty11 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I was just basing it on the bass, lack of head shots, and lack of bass solo which I saw Baron Browne rip on at one JLP show I saw. Thanks.

Not completely sure, but I think that's Nathan East on bass. Barone Brown used a Jazz. Rayford kicked some serious butt

Esa es la gran sorpresa. Sin embargo, por el nombre del tour tocará todo lo de la era Atlantic.

plasticdrag That's just the standard bass part during the guitar solo. This version doesn't have it. I think they ended the song early or something.
@CaseyVan7 жыл бұрын
Yeah I think the original is about 4 or 5 minutes. I saw this band, but a different bass player. Name escapes me but after I saw him play bass, I felt connected to bass playing somehow.
