Warhol/Basquiat double portrait; read and saw a video of returning in 2 hours with it while the paint was still wet.

I would say his family, who hold the majority, were talking 95% of his work and sketches, are the experts on his meaning and attributions that are not obvious to even those who worked around him for a few years. Humility matters when you did not make the work… from a fellow creative.

Great, but has a lot of flaws in it. For example, the first Self Portrait was from 1981, not 1983...

Lecture okay and a bit dry considering Basquiat’s dynamic work, but lost me when he pronounced “samo” as Sam-o rather than “same-o”

Samo would think it’s hilarious that someone who hung out on his periphery now makes a living analyzing his 5 minute work. There is no deeper meaning other than the immediacy of fame. He left interpretation to the viewer.
