Hi Mascha. This is a gorgeous deck. The colors are exquisite. I love my Flornoy and Peterson, but who knows?....I rounded the corners of the Flornoy and love the ivory background. They all have their unique look, don't they? Thank you for this review and showing. Anne

Hi Anne! 🤗 Yes, this newest Noblet from Sullivan is truly gorgeous! The colours are absolutely stunning and the redrawing and linework are the most refined I’ve seen in Noblet! This little deck is pure delight and a charmer! 🥰 I, of course, also own the Flornoy’s full deck, it was one of my earliest (my 3rd TdM purchase ever- from memory I bought Noblet & Dodal together from Roxanne).

You always look so lovely and provide great background information! You know, I still don't have a Noblet (for 'antique' decks I have a Perrin, Jacques Vievielle, and Soprafino). Which 78 card Noblet would you recommend--or should I have a Dodal (if I had to choose)? This majors only deck is wonderful! I was amused that the book La Papesse holds just has squiggles on it and the Star has the reddest nipples I've ever seen! Have a lovely Christmas down under, my dear!

Thank you, my dear friend! Ooooh, Nancy! It's such a hard question for me to answer, as I love both Noblet and Dodal! I use Dodal in the majority of my readings for others and people love it. When it comes to Noblet, I use it in my studies, personal readings and reading to my friends who are familiar with tarot. There are a few nice versions of Noblet available, it depends whether you prefer facsimile or the version with clean lines and background. Let me know which... xx

@@musingsbymascha Well, that's a hard question! I love Artisan Tarot clean style decks but I also appreciate really good facsimiles with arty paper. One thing that matters to me is the coloring--I prefer less of the prime colors and some variation==for example Artisan's Vievielle has some purples and olive greens. Anyway, tell me the one Noblet or Dodal you'd pick if you could have only one and I'll check it out! Historic decks aren't my specialty so I will only have a few and it's nice to get advice on really 'good' ones!
