Un homme incroyable que Jeannot. J'ai eu l'occasion de lui serrer la main un soir du Vosges-Alsace à la sortie d'un restaurant avec Priscille de Beloy qui roulait à l'époque en 106, et Jeannot a testé la 106 et nous a gratifié du 360 en marche arrière !! Il a un sacré coup de volant c'est sûr !!

The amazing thing is how he managed to understand how to control understeering. Underssteering is notoriously the worst thing you can have while driving fast, but not for him. He managed to make it a resource. Incredible. Possibly the only driver in the world that could do that.

A really agressive setup, loose on the rear, especially on braking. Wide steering wheel, for driving with low steering input and lots of throttle/brake balance. A setup that works just on this type of drivers.

Alors oui,Jeannot vivait,vibrait pour le rallye,le spectacle et les spectateurs,avec des temps de ouf(Attention,j'emploi le passé pour sa carrière) mais il est vrai qu'à 51 ans en 1996 (né en 1945) les jeunes loups son derrières et les constructeurs ne font pas dans l'affectif. Malgré tout,si il prenait maintenant une auto style "Clio R3 Max" l'équivalent de la Clio Maxi (en temps à quelque chose près) et malgré les années,notre Jeannot national en endormirait plus d'un et j'en suis persuadé.

Je l ai vu au rallye de Lorraine. Il pilotait la Renault 5aux couleurs Calberson. Un pilote qui ne freine pratiquement pas on peut dire qu il est excellent !!

Je suis bien d'accord avec toi... Et les pilotes étaient de vrai pilotes,non pas qu'ils ne le soient plus maintenant mais pour avoir fait bcp de rallyes,l'ambiance était la et à l'époque les paddocks étaient presque (je dis bien presque) accessible,une époque révolu...et c'est bien dommage (je parle du WRC et du Championnat de France)...

C'est pas faux même si maintenant les autos sont bcps plus performantes qu'il y a quelques années,notamment en passage de courbe,et pour ne rien soustraire à l'histoire,c'est "Monsieur Ragnotti" au volant...et oui...le King des rallyes pour encore plusieurs décennies...............
