I’m SO glad you reviewed this line. My boyfriend bought me the entire line from Walmart in his hometown! They had it marked down to 5 dollars minus the curl maker & oil but I got the shampoo conditioner & deep conditioner & the first line of Jane Carter!!! All of Camille rose products are great when it comes to moisture and scents. I LOVE that curl maker gel ( just used it on my last wash day paired with the honey leave in) .. that is my favorite gel 🤗. I don't care really for the custard conditioner, but I love her algea deep conditioner, almond Jai, and aloe whipped styler.

Good video! Love Camille Rose. I also like how your hair hangs. My hair needs "weight" to it in order to hang down, if you know what I mean. I wonder if my cut (or lack thereof) is the problem. I can't find products that elongates and "weighs" my hair down so I can wear my hair out. Any suggestions! Thanks!

truth4utoda it really depends on your hair’s porosity and density. If your hair is high porosity then it may not appear elongated. Is this the case?

I love Camille Rose Naturals. My hair is always hydrated after I use their products. I enjoy the algae renew and the coconut deep treatment mask...they’re both so good. I just ordered her lavender collection. Quick question...my strands are opposite of yours...they get super tangled and my wash days are so long due to detangling...anything I can do to combat this? I think it’s due to me washing my hair upside down. I just recently cut an inch off thinking I needed a good cut, but it still tangled pretty good.

csquare snaps I found that prepooing has greatly reduced the amount of tangles I get on wash day. I prepoo overnight with coconut oil, but you can use other oils and some people use conditioner.

csquare snaps I would focus your wash days with a treatment and in sections. Perhaps detangle with water or a detangler outside the shower. Wash your hair in sections and no washing upside down. Even style your hair to where there low manipulation and wash once a week. Stay consistent as well

JeanetteJBeauty I do all thee above you mentioned except washing upside down. I only do this bcuz I live abroad and it’s due to how the shower is set up. I will say I could probably prepoo more often. I would like to mention today was my wash day and I prepoo’ed w/rosemary, cedarwood, tea tree, argan, cocoa and dibs oil along with Camille rose soy conditioner as a prepoo with 30min of heat and my hair hardly had any tangles. So I guess I need to go back to prepooing more frequently. I heard Mo Knows Hair say awhile ago that prepoos are useless and does nothing for the hair...so I backed off a bit. But today’s wash day was so much easier. 🙌🏾

I find that if I wash my hair upside in the kitchen sink my hair tangled horribly. If I wash in the shower I’m able to avoid some of those tangles. I only wash in the sink now if I’m in a rush.

I loveeee the styling products for Camille Rose but the shampoo and conditioner was a major no for me, and my 4b/4c hair. I could not detangle at all, it just provided no slip and I tried it a few separate times. Glad it worked for you though. I love their moisture milk and curl maker.

Hi Jeanette. I’m starting my journey to natural hair and absolutely appreciate these videos. They’re easy to follow with good sold verifiable info. My first question really is how do I determine what hair type do I have? My hair is curly like yours however it is fine and when I straightened it in the past, my hair would fall or revert quite easy. Hi Jeanette! I was wondering if you would recommended this line for transitioning from straight to curly? I really want to go back to curly. I have type 4C hair. Very coarse. It dry's pretty fast and I can never seem to retain moisture as well. I would get a haircut now but with everything going on I can't 😲😵. Most people condition first because most conditioners have slip that helps you detangle unlike deep conditioners. The deep conditioner goes last because it provides all the nutrients and moisture that your hair needs. Remember most companies invest more in their deep conditioners as compared to their conditioners. However, if your hair really benefits from your method, just keep on doing it :)
