Jeanne, you never fail to make me laugh. We saw your show when you came to Evansville in January. As we walked from the parking garage to the Victory Theater that night through freezing rain and sleet driven by gale force winds, I thought “this show better be good to put up with this!” Well, by the time it was over, and we trudged back through the icy snow now blowing directly in our face, we weren’t even thinking about the weather. We were still laughing. I hate snow and cold weather, so anyone who can make me forget about that is a true artist! Thanks for bringing joy to a world that sorely needs it.

I’m a subscriber, found ur comedy here on YT awhile ago. So when I saw the notification I clicked it because the title immediately made me think of my tractor hat, toothpick wielding 85 year old father in law. @@JW-vd4il Oh yeah!! Don't send a man to the grocery store had me crying from laughing so hard because I could picture the entire thing. When you've been married for quite a few years, things like that grocery list actually happen. My husband would be a good example of it. You have to have a sense of humor if you want your marriage to last, and while we've had our share of fights, we've had many more times that we laughed at things, and it's times like that that make you realize how much you love that person. We're a few weeks away from 36 years of marriage, and I'm so grateful to have him with me.

A great big THANK YOU to Jeanne! Hadn't been hospitalized in 35 years and then learned I had not one, but 2 different kinds of cancer. After 45 external radiations, 5 internal radiations and 2 (5 hour each chemo treatments), losing my hair, becoming neutropenic twice, unable to even swallow water and becoming dehydrated....I beat both cancers with the help of my fabulous doctors, their fabulous staff and the LAUGHTER Miss Jeanne brought to me! She's a Gift from God! I had wanted to see her when she came to Missouri, but was so sick I couldn't....one of these days, I'd like to shake her hand. She's an incredible American Woman! I teach piano and have a story for her....I was telling a student about "nocturnes" and "nocturnal" and he said "You mean like owls?" I said yes, biting my cheek. This same youngster once asked me about pants, saying people wear pants....a horse would need 2 pairs of pants....but why couldn't a snake just use a sock? Listen to Miss Jeanne's message! Find HUMOR in your every day life! It's there. Don't be so self-absorbed or "busy" that you can't see it!

You most certainly are famous around my house. You have brought a lot of light in some dark periods in my life. The first time I heard you was in a 2 min snip it on the radio as I pulled in to my driveway. You were talking about the difference between left brains and right brains (I am left brained). I sat there and laughed and laughed. I had to go search out your CDs. Half my daughter's childhood was listening to your stories when I needed some laughter. She is 20 now and studying at NAU. Great story! Love hearing from you from time to time. I've subscribed. I am a 63 yrs. old woman and in 2013, I fracture my femur. Fell on our deck and hit the top edge of a stair. Had surgery and a rod inserted. It was a long recovery but I'm fine. Didn't know you had a mishap, I do wish you well and a speedy recovery.

Well Jeanne, things happen and other things take place, just goes to show you how far our relationship has progressed. About a year ago I found your KZbin moments and like so many others, throughly enjoyed them. In my head, I felt you were bringing me closer to my daughter- who was in the Army Airborne company in Fort Bragg. Last August she moved to Durham and was added to their police academy. We realized if we were going to continue seeing our kid, Muhammad had better come to the mountain. So here it is a year later and we have become your neighbors- Hi from Mebane by the way!
