This made my day. I had never seen this video. Jeanne is my “go to” when I’m down. I miss her and I didn’t know if I could handle watching her after she passed (head bowed down ) but she is still bringing me joy. Jeanne is gone from us but her spirit and her legacy remains. And might I add so are Left Brain’s. You’re keeping us laughing, Jeanne! ❤

@@bethmceachran2756 Jeanne is still bringing me joy and laughter! I’m glad you met her or found her videos. I was blessed to see her in Bristol, TN/VA a few years ago. She was as friendly as she could be. You might have head clips of her being in Bristol when she saw lady go up toa man in uniform to thank him for his service.😂 She has been to Bristol several times before I ever heard of her. My favorite is the Vegas trip with Rose- lol!

Every time a new Jeanne Robertson video comes on YT, it’s so bittersweet. I just love this lady’s humor. But she’s long gone now, and l am betting she’s entertaining up in heaven. How I miss her! She was coming to Florida before the pandemic, and she died before it was over. I feel like I really missed something by not getting to see her in person.

Me too. I am a certified sign language interpreter. That demonstration of "fingerspelling" with the palm facing the body was such a crack-up. Her story about the dinner and her hubby's trying to communicate something to her was hilarious. I love her outlook on life when things are different and unexpected. My mom was that way as well. Jeanne must have believed in the same thing my Mom did......."See the donut....not the hole". Find something funny, life is too short. It will hold us in good stead.

I’m from NC, but I was an Army brat and lived some 2000 miles away from my dear Grandmother. She was the only person I knew who would refer to our three meals as breakfast, dinner and supper. When I was really young, this confused me. I always thought it was breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had forgotten all about that until seeing this video. 😄 I miss you, Grandmother. 🩶 RIP Jeanne. 🙂

Dear God how I miss her stories. I keep them ALL in my ipod.....you know, the thing that Apple is no longer making....and I pray it will outlive me or my ability to hear, because I keep over 2,000 songs and the audio from her videos just in case we're in the car in the middle of Kansas and can't find a radio station, I have enough categories and playlists that I know my husband will find something he would enjoy, and sometimes, you don't need the music, you need to laugh. Only 2 people who can make me laugh as much as Jeanne, and it would be Bill Engvall and Gabriel Iglesias. There are others who are good, but these 3 are always the best for us. I pray Jeanne is still telling stories when I........if I get to Heaven. I'm a Christian, I love Jesus, but I cuss a bit, especially at football games on tv.

I once fell in love with a guy from Louisiana. His accent melted my ears off. When he phoned. But the romance never amounted to much. But it did cause me to learn to drive and get a car. I think she may have come to this town once or twice. But so many people come here, it's impossible to get anything done. My life got backed up. And despite being someone who has a media degree, problems have caused me to isolate at times.

As a mother of a deaf adult, you n3ed to know they preferred to be called deaf. Only hearing people say hearing impaired. The culture is deaf. Other than that you were funny
@cindyalarid42402 ай бұрын
You're right. I think "hearing impaired" was a Hearing way to avoid the "negative" label of Deaf, just like all the new ways the educ. system re-labels or defines neurological differences, physical differences, etc., that used to be lumped under mentally or physically "handicapped."
