Update from TheJasmineBrand: Jeezy vehemently denies these abuse allegations. The rapper & author says the specific incident that she is referring to is a complete lie. Court docs state that the injuries that Jeannie references are actually from a golf court accident. Below, are photos and texts that illustrate how the injury happened and the time frame in which it occurred. Jeezy also provides photos of the injuries that he allegedly suffered from the golf cart accident. Jeannie Mai alleges the incident took place in April. The text messages indicate a date of June, months after the alleged incident.

It’s not that weird. You have to remember that she made him seem like he was someone that he may not be. She glorified their relationship publicly. That means that she was trying to stand up for their relationship publicly. She is in her 40s. Second time Divorce. Not only is that embarrassing; it’s also difficult to deal with. To keep having to go back out into the world though you thought a relationship could work? Also adding to that a baby? Especially because she initially did not want to have children. As a licensed clinical therapist, this is so disheartening 😢 But, therapists need to stick to ethics and NOT engage in couples counseling when domestic violence is present in the relationship/marriage. This puts the victims at additional risk! Therapists need to do better honestly because I hear clients mention situations like this with other therapists way too often 😢
