What size mandrel do you usually use? 3/16? I'm going to try some beads as soon as I get bead release and mandrels!

Yes, usually 1/8th to 3/16th, they are just skinnier ones for these beads.

Where is the cheapest place rpcef glass for this

I have no idea what "rpcef" is. There are various glass suppliers - - Frantz Glass, Mountain Glass Arts, ABR Imagery, SW Art Glass, etc. Check around.
