I can't relate enough with Brad ALWAYS looking so tired. Pregnant with our fourth and have a 13 month old and we're basically zombies at this point. Coherent conversations are tough.
@Electrodexify Жыл бұрын
What prevents you from not being zombies? Do you recommend having children one after another, or having them separate years. It almost seems that having kids is like sacrificing yourself, so that your kids grow up right.
@threearrows2248 Жыл бұрын
@@Electrodexify That's exactly what parenthood is. And it's the most worthy endeavor I can imagine. I had 2 kids 21 months apart, then a 5 year gap in which I lost two babies by miscarriage, then two more 16 months apart. You'll be tired regardless. If I could do it again I'd space them all out about 2 years apart. But on the other hand, I've been sleep deprived for so long by years of back to back pregnancies that it actually doesn't bother me anymore. So there's some grace to it.

I do genuinely think that couples who are planning to have children should be much more aware of the tornado they are about to invite into their life and care for. Children change e v e r y t h i n g. At the same time, parents don't have a monopoly on what constitutes busy and/or tired. Just because a couple has no kids doesn't mean they're well off. There's a whole finical spectrum and class system out there. Brad's ott laugh was bloody hilarious tho!

When pregnant with my first, I naively thought like Jake, that my world would go on as usual just with a baby to care for. 40 hours of labor, postpartum depression - my world was turned completely upside-down. Brad's laugh/cry during that part - I felt that in my soul. 5 daughters, 2 miscarriages later, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Now they're graduating college/in college. Last one is a freshman. The days can be so very long, but the years are short.
