Jebao Dosing Pump Review
A guide and some tips on how to use a dosing pump.

I need to clarify something before everyone sees this video. (Too lazy to edit) I do recommend this Dosing Pump because of the price and if it's your first time with a Dosing pump, great to begin with. HOWEVER, keep in mind many stores stop selling it because of too many returns. I will ALWAYS recommend buying quality first because, in the long run, you get your money back. I like to dos on the hour every hour, only problem I had is it can only do 1ml dosage amounts meaning the lowest dosage amount is 1ml.

Yeah i totaly get it why ew would want a continuous dosing, the reason why i don't do this is because of the sound, it's annoying when it's near you.

I do have a tip for you tho man , use 1/4" RO line and a 1/4" RO check valve off your intake line keeps your system primed and pressurized all the time and keeps air bubbles out , once its primed the first time it will stay that way, oh I should mention I meant the line that picks up the fert , not the pump line lol .

Hi all! quick question, when my pump doesn't proceed to dosage for some time (like 24h), the inlet tube liquid slowly flows back to the solution container. What can i do about it because i thought peristaltic would retain the liquid when off ?

Play with the height of the pump vs where it drains, maybe it won't suck back. I think the right order from bottom to top is Dosing bottle - Aquarium - pump. But right now i'm having the reverse other so... lol Also make sure your bottle dosing is not close by you let air pass through, just for pressure. (I do a tiny hole on top of the bottle)

Hello, I have thinking would this work for hydroponics growing plants. when mixing a new water solution with nutrients you have to put 4 different types of nutrients into a bucket of water to mix. Is it easy to say to pump, take 5ml of solution 1, 10ml of solution 2, 20ml solution 3 and send it through the tubes at same time? Also, is there any problem with solution getting left in tubes? Is it super accurate?

It's accurate enough to not cause any harm in my opinion. (especially with plants). Good question about getting dry, I do not know the repercussion, it probably depends on each fertilizer and the frequency. Mix and dosing are two different things but I assume it's ok

I want to get one for fertilizer injection , it will only need to come on for 1minute every 3 days I'm thinking this is absolutely all I need to do fertigation and save alot of money but my son concern is how acurate is it

I love jebao products however I would never use their dosing pumps. Their products are not designed for long term. Many of their products go so far as to stipulate on their sites that the product life is only 1 year. Some people are lucky and get a few years out of their products. As for a doser, when/if they do fail, it typically is in the ON position. That could be detrimental to a tank. With hundreds, if not thousands invested in livestock, a few extra dollars on a doser is highly recommended. Great video.

I would say this other than their dosing pumps. I've had the kamoer dosing pumps, and this was more reliable. Almost 4 years and still going strong

this is trash i ordered 4 and none of them worked. the motor would spin but the pump wouldn’t work. poorly made

It’s not the best, even for the price there is a difference in ML per dose and dumps in alk and creates spikes. For beginner like you maybe that’s works.

I tested mine to see the calibration, it was spot on on 100ml every time, guess I might have a very good unit!
