wow... I actually returned my jebo dosser and ordered this one. Cool. Thank you for introducing this product to us all. Look all over and everything was price up the booty. This one has a badass app and best price. Did a few research on this unit and so far not much reviews but every review currently out there is nothing but good news. great video about this doser. i personally use a ecotech versa on my marine tanks before. but the price of 1 head of those = same price as 4 heads for the chihiros. i love the interface, seems quite easy to use. great video tommy! can't wait for the next one!

thanks for the video. The one issue I have with auto dosers is that I typically have to shake my containers to before I dose to get all of the ingredients to mix well before I dose, especially my DIY salts based macro and micro ferts.

I have one and love it. Small, stylish, affordable and precise. If you have any contact with Chihiros Team, please recommend a firmware update so that it integrates with the Wifi Hub, so it can be managed remotely. That would make it the ultimate doser. I use Wifi dosers for remote water changes (adding GH, KH, etc). I had to add additional Wifi dosers for this (they are big, ugly and expensive for a 1-2 head doser). Great video guys!

didn't knew about it :O , soon I am planning to build a new built as my last betta died (oldage) shallow aquarium (75*20*30). I had success with liquid fertilizers in planted aquarium before but after I got a job and due fluctuation of my working time, I couldn't give much time. I have automated light, and food system, This is a great news for me. Thanks for sharing. I normally buy my plants in green aqua (but been more than a year apart I guess.)

Iam a bit confused with the time settings for dozing. Say for example I need to doze 20 ml of Seachem advance on Monday and thursday every week . Should I use the first setting Daily and highlight Monday and Thursday in Recurrence. I have set up the device on Custom Periods and in there Recurrence is Mon and Thursday and the Volume etc. Would help me a great bit if you explain in my example

Their fertilizers are not available in the EU. But you can use it with any other fertilizers. There are no pros and cons.

Hi love Green Aqua channel. The question is not related to the video but i see that you like iwagumi style i put seriyu stone in the tank and add RO water the TDS up to 182 after 5 days. There is any solution for this? Thanks you

Just do the regular weekly water changes-there is nothing you can do about that. But that is ok. With soft water, this will not be critical.

we usually run some kind of carbon source, like Green Aqua Carbon or Seachem Excel and the fourth one is reserved for extra phosphate or iron depending on the setup

Most dosers can run for years without changing the motors. We only had a few cases in the last 10 years or so.

Not really, if it does not crystalize. It needs to be below the solubility level and not too cold... We rarely see precipitation that happens in weeks / months. Maybe in years...

Does priming influence the liquids that are going to be used? Let's say, I'm using liquid CO2, and the liquid that will be pumped will be in the tube for 24 hours. Will the liquid degrade or oxidise?

good product by chihiros again, can we use all fertilizer with ? I have seen it sometimes recommended to shake the fertilizer bottle before use to avoid concentration at the bottom. With this kind of system it's not possible. Do you think it’s really useful to shake it?

So I went to set it up today and neither head would prime... Upon disassembling the heads it was apparent that the latex tube was wedged too deeply and had become partially stuck underneath the rollers and not completely on the sides of the rollers within the raceway. Upon repositioning the latex tubes and reassembly everything works perfectly.

Mostly connection issues with the different Bluetooth devices. For example on Iphones this works better than on others.

Some fertilizers should not be mixed with any other fertilizer, because that leads to precipitation reactions.

We add green aqua ferts to this one, macro and micro on a daily basis, normal dosage. Plus seachem excel, also daily, also normal dosage.

I have this pump and it's ok. The dispenser head has too small holes so it clogs quite easily. The tiniest sediment or fertilizer salt crystal will clog it. I have since just removed the whole dispenser head and just have the tubes sticking out now because it was constantly clogging up. Works fine now without the dispenser head but it's not as pretty which is a large part of why i bought this specific dispenser.

The problem with this pump is when you stop using the final acrylic tap, due to crystallization and dirt. With the tubes open, the fertilizers back up, making the dosage inaccurate. It seems that the pump does not have valves to block the flow of fluid in one direction. Disappointing.

You could for example use it with carbon supplements that you don't trust to stay in the water for long as some would decompose. Just an idea.

When you think of dosers, that's not something that is a must-have or something that people with a smaller budget would use. With that said, there's a huge market for it, and makes life in the hobby so much easier. I think that presenting products for the viewers is a useful tool to help you decide if you like it or not and you can buy it or not.
