brilliant vid, although its hard to believe that those little USB fans can move air through a carbon filter. I use the Secret Jardin fan and carbon filter. Its pretty small and only 20db when set up right.

Hey Jeb! I actually have a question for you, a little question. I have purchased the initial supplies for a small grow tent, 2x2 grow tent, for the purposes of growing Sarracenia hybrids, 7 different hybrids total. These seeds are carnivorous and love the north american bogs in the south. They prefer, don't need, but prefer high humidity to aid in their germination. My question is, what should I do for air circulation? I have 2 fans already.

Hey Jeb, I had an idea I just wanted to throw at you to see what you would think. You know how fluorescent lights come in long tubes? They're typically installed in the ceiling behind long panels so that they look flush. What if you built a cabinet made of light panels, so that the plant would be getting continuous light from every angle?

Just a little hint of advice for a cabinet for closet Build with this light the entire purpose of the Myers Hydro is that extended cable that connects to the ballast put that shit in another room. Terpenes start to depreciate at 82 degrees Fahrenheit and the plant doesn't grow any extra terpenes until it hits a 60-degree low at night. New-age companies like grow science have mastered the art of high terpenes by doing a 75 degree daytime and a 60-degree night time. Through my own tests I have only come to conclude that dish it is bomb. I've had my last two batches tested the first of which was 28% and the second was 32%. I don't care what anyone has to say this shit is working and very high in flavor. Growing Skywalker OG by the way

Excellent video, I particularly enjoyed the cabinet and stand up deep freezer grow unit part. My first growunit over 20 years ago was a plastic Rubbermaid storage closet lighted by 16 (100 watt equivalent) CFL lamps held by 4 quad bulb vanity fixtures, and ventilation provided by a 50cfm bathroom fan 😆 I painted the inside white with fungicide added to the paint. I used an air tiger ozone generator in a cardboard box for treating the output air and grew 4 small riffer plants directly in the potting soil plastic bags held in 2 liter carriers from the store which were stackable for height adjustments. Later on I built over 30 stand up deep freezer grow units, 2 that I know of are still operating and producing after a decade. My little growunit business was called "Gold Factory" and they featured A 600 watt Gavita mirrored Halide and mirrored HPS with the 60 degree beam angle in a pyrex cylinder for air cooling connected to a 230cfm exhaust fan that connected to a small carbon filter canister on the back. I used a 10" square box fan in a cutout in the back of the deep freezer at the bottom for intake air. I used charcoal impregnated vent filters to block light leakage and filter the incoming air. Some of my units were soil in cube shaped grow bags, some were a hydroponics setup known as "Emily's Garden" that was basically a 6 plant DWC using air pump, air stones, nutrient solution, and clay grow rocks in the 6 removable containers. I basically supercharged the units with a 100 watt continuous flow commercial pond style air pump and high end ceramic disc airstones added to the stock system. I no longer do the indoor grow stuff however, as it's fully legal for people in Michigan...so I just grow a decent crop on the side of the highway in various areas every year featuring remote monitoring and soil/moisture maintenance.
