When I bought this abandoned storage locker I did not see any value from the door, but there were a ton of boxes and totes in this abandoned storage locker, so we took a chance! Attorneys have to hold their files for I think 7 years so do other businesses so we used to have several companies that would rent a unit just for their old files. Those packets you pulled out with paper in them are clothing patterns for you to cut out pieces of material to make clothes. Simplicity used to be a popular brand

You keep saying......no value, no value. When you go to donate items no matter what it is, ask for a receipt. Tell them it is for taxes. All charitable donations you can can write off on taxes and actually get money for what you donate. So even the no name clothes, shoes, furniture can in fact make you a lot of money during tax time.

Hey, I know this is a bit off the wall but seeing all the files brought this to mind. If you ever come across genealogy files, while they won't have a great deal of value, they could be priceless to someone. I live in Maryland and my whole family history is here. Every genealogist dreams of finding stuff like that and stuff like old photos and a family bible. If you ever find genealogical materials, I can give you ideas on where to post the surnames and possibly hooking up with family. It's a long shot but stranger things have happened. I hope your next unit is a great one.

iPod shuffle uses a special cord to charge it. It looks like an mini headphone (aux cord) jack on one end and a USB on the other end. It might be in the leftover junk.

the special cords run around 5 bucks on amazon. I luckily found a person who sold the original charger(s) (the short one and a long one). On Ebay, shuffles run around 40 bucks. Hold off of selling that shuffle Jebus, I might buy it off of you when I have the money. I think I still have our convo on twitter so I think I can still message you.

Those envelopes with the thin paper in them are patterns. They sell ok on ebay. That mean green machine is about $70 retail. They are good on pet stains. Crafting supplies sell really good in the flea market.

We did end up finding 2 in there after we were finished with the video that were worth a bit! A $70 Coach purse in okay condition and a Ralph Lauren purse that was worth about $30!

You may already know this but if not, there is a company called boardsort.com that you can send old cell phones to and they pay you by the pound for them, I'm not sure but they may take other electronics as well. So, if you can't get money from your eco atm for phones you might try this company. BTW, I'm a new sub, I came over from What the Hales.
