I am so upset that I will be missing another yard sale, but I am still recuperating from my recent 10 hr back reconstruction surgery. I am hoping by the spring that I can attend. Those round things are hair rollers. Women used to get their hair washed and styled once a week at the salon. The stylist would wash their hair, put the hair rollers in the hair and set them under a hood dryer. When the hair was dry, the stylist would take the rollers out and style the hair. The women wouldn't wash their hair for a week after that, they just touched up the style before going about their day.
